I just can’t help but feel like no matter what Bill and I get normally by the time I’m around level 10. I feel like I just need to make a whole new profile cause I made wrong choices in my skill tree.

ОтветитьThe "ship I stole was full of contraband" can however be circumvented. After you go onto the new ship you need to sit down in the pilot's seat, then go into the ship menu. It will say that your last one is your main ship, but it will show the new one. You then set the new one as your main ship. Afterwards you need to dock onto your old ship before she jumps away (usually a lot of time for that) and just go back into the pilot seat and make it your main ship. This way the new contraband cargo will get transfered to your old ship which probably has shielded cargo.

ОтветитьIIRC Scanning is just the orbital scans. So a system with lots of planets and moons will complete the challenges quickly.

ОтветитьI get severe fomo after spending a skill point and even if it is the exact perfect perk i need at that time, im still convinced i should have picked something else.
I find banking 5 or so points elviates this slightly.
But still you spend 4 of the 5 and on that 5th point... fresh hell.
Go straight weapon mods for damage. Extended mag coachman and hornet nest rounds, that's all ima say

ОтветитьYou left out all of the prerequisite challenges for every skill AFTER "skill level 1". There are requirements for every skill at after the first 1.
ОтветитьI know, and simply as being a space opera, this game isn't melee-optimized. But I convinced myself to make a Gray Fox style character that can let me move around an area as smoothly as possible and ganking people, and being able to minimize direct damage while reflecting damage.
But just wtf is up with Martial Arts... First challenge; easy, throw a bunch of fisticuffs. But then the challenge shifts to disarming opponents (with power attacks, which the game doesn't specify.) with a whopping 15%. To further salt the wound, you can't stack it with gear with a disarm %. For some damned reason, there's a separate % for base, and one for additional buff %, the former of which must be registered to the disarm.
30, then 50 times doing this... I've had to actively go around raiding abandoned places to throw hands with rooms of gunners, and after a couple of hours, I have all of four disarms. Even on very easy, it's just a fool's errand.
There just shouldn't be melee skills if they wanna make it that difficult. Feels like getting punished for delving into offered mechanics because being a katakana-weilding superhuman is so way out of the setting's context.
Looks like I'll have to fulfill my fever dreams in CP2077.
It's disappointing that Intimidation, Diplomacy, and Instigation are just Fear, Calm and Frenzy from Skyrim...
What were once some spells which could be upgraded through an entire skill tree are now the penultimate tier of skills all on their own.
Granted, those spells were horrendously imbalanced, but still

ОтветитьWeightliftings stagger reduction is beneficial don’t know how any time I get smacked and stop reloading or doing something and the zero g is super duper useful once you enter new game you’re doing probably like 15 temples per new game and they are all technically zero g

Like i was really hoping to see which one allows you to have more transfer stations at each out post.. ive seen in vids but have no clue which one unlocks that ability cause none of them say that..just say you can get more outposts ..which i have n no extra transfer stations also like outpost building, what are these superior modules vs the others????

ОтветитьOne of my complaints about Starfield is the different things you have to do to rank up the skills and the disparity between how difficult or easy it is for some versus others. Like you said, Nutrition literally just requires you to eat food. That's super easy, there is food everywhere. But piloting and Targeting skills require you to actually grind. So does Security and if your not careful you can level up to the point where you are getting a lot of locks that are beyond your ability to pick and thus have security progress even slower missing out on a lot of stuff. Its just kind of weird how they decided to do some of the skills. Overall I love this game, not saying I don't but this and the stupidly tedious temple minigame are some of my biggest complaints.

ОтветитьJust watched another content creator show where the level 4 laser perk breaks the game with the cutter. Each tic of damage from being on fire does a percentage of your health, not a set amount. The cutter hits several time a second and each hit can cause a new fire. So it doesn't take long for the fire damage to melt enemies becof the multiple fires happening at once.

ОтветитьThis is such a comprehensive video. Succinct, too. I love this skill system a lot better than Skyrim. It removes a lot of the grinding and naturally levels up as you play.

ОтветитьI wrote off Bethesda after fallout 76 and I can't stand the gender neutral/homosexual crap in a fantasy game... If you can get past the pronoun problems of starfield, it really is a great game. Zenimax and Bethesda, I have one question on this pronoun business. Conjunction junction, what's your function?
ОтветитьI am wondering about deception skill. What determines "stronger?" From the outside looking in because I have yet to play that far into the game where I have that many maxed skills. Is there like a unknown potential max dps or maximum mass at play here in determining that? Mass would not necessarily be stronger could just be fatter. So I wonder if it has to do with DPS. If it does this skill is lkely useless as I am sure players max DPS on every build as much as possible. Except maybe when doing cargo hauling but even then you can glitch an enitre cargo ship onto the Mantis ship.

ОтветитьNo disrespect but the energy weapons system has no explanation whatsoever. Is it lasers? So far electron and alpha beams are not it (sounds like energy to me)...

ОтветитьFor the SCANNING Perk. All you need to do is travel there and scan from orbit. That's it. You dont need to land and scan everything. 😊

ОтветитьAll missles in this game have a lock on feature regardless of ship, weapon, or skills.
Although tbh I almost never equip them and usually switch them out for other weapons if my ship has them
You saying your ship has 1400 cargo like its alot made me feel attacked lol bc i got over 5k cargo with my ecnohaul before i had the bright idea to store all my resources at the lodge. And its still about halfway full lol
ОтветитьYou can level up the payload skill easily by just switching to a low cargo ship. All your cargo will automatically get transfered to that ship even if its more than the ship cargo
ОтветитьShip thrusters are not the boost. You can always boost without any skills. Thrusters are for drifting or strafing your ship.
Additionally you can level all the piloting skills in like 20 min with the simulator at uc.
i also noticed for leveling demolitions, killing people with the Hornet's Nest mod for shotguns and stuff and, i cannot remember for the explosive rounds but i do not think they count, but the Hornet's Nest mod 100% counts for the "Kills with Explosives" instead of with shotgun, unless perhaps you kill them with the direct round itself and not the gigantic explosion from the mod
Ответитьif you're further into the story line, i am NOT there yet so cannot remember his name but have seen mad videos, the 2nd black guy you recruit, NOT barrett, if you talk to him and go thru all his dialogue options, you will eventually be able to sell him ALL your planet survey data, for DOUBLE what phil and every other vendor will buy it for :)
ОтветитьYou can track resources in the crafting menus (workbenches and research lab). When you lack an item or resource to craft or research you can track the resources so they'll have a blue magnifier glass next to those resources required for crafting. It is the same system that is in Fallout 4. :) Hope this helps when you're looking for resources to craft something.
