Galaxy Z Fold 5 - The 6 Things No One is Telling You!

I bought z fold 4 last year,
I would say everything was perfect but my inner screen broken from the middle of the screen from flexible area while opening the screen after 5 months of use i went to Samsung service centre explained everything but they said that it will not cover under my warranty and have to pay for screen.
I hope this issue is fixed now in z fold 5, thinking to buy again but scared of the last experience

Whilst this video is very informative, I'm still waiting on the 6 things no one is telling us....I've seen and heard these in various other videos. The title is misleading, I'm afraid.

When Samsung puts the upgradeable SD card back I'll buy it. My husband bought the Z Fold 5 and loves it but is hindered by this Issue, too. He told me to keep my Note Ultra 20 until there's an upgradable SD card option, like my Note 20 Ultra has. Samsung would see a huge boost in sales if they put the upgradeable SD card back. Till then ...

As someone that had the z fold 3 and currently using fold 4, most of the gripes out there are not that noticeable at all during daily use. The crease is barely noticeable once you start to use it and watch videos. When you use a case it doesn't matter if the phone folds flat or not. The case with raised edges is pretty much going to fill in the gap that is left behind. The only thing I wish for is a bigger battery. The narrow front display takes some getting used to, but as a person that wanted the Sony flagship phone that also has a narrow display its not that bad. Other foldable phones that we can get in the use in the U.S. and not have possible carrier issues are not as durable, and for the same price, I'll stick with the fold series of phones.

The 5 doest offer anything more that I need that would cause me to get rid of my 4. We will see when the 6 comes out. Lol

I was so stuck between this and the google pixel. At last minute i chose the pixel and i have 14 days to change my mind. Anyone want to help me decide? Im truly stuck

Absolutely garbage. I have returned my fold5 back to the shop after 3 days .

Theres a logic to buy Z fold 5, especially for Z fold 4 customers

I agree that if you are a Z fold 4 user then you may not find any diff in Z fold 5...

But when i randomly checked with Samsung servic centre they said that the Z fold 4 inner display would cost 54k here in india if anything goes wrong post warranty period is over

And we all know that the problem actually starts post 12 month's of usage in foldable devices

So i invested 60k on top of my old Z fold 4 and got a new Z fold 5 and that shall keep me worry free for next 1 year...

Whatsapp video call on big inner display is the worst experience... always zoomed video

The fold 5 is an awesome phone, i upgraded from a huawei p30 pro (2019 device versus 2023 device) and once you have it in your hands, you realize that every fucking cent is worth the price. Fold 5 completely changed my user experience with smartphones. Incredible screen quality, incredible camera, awesome battery duration and hands down the smoothest phone i ever had. If you havent money issues go for it, you will be absolutely mind blown

Hi ,,In my galaxy Z fold 5 For some reason the under display camera is always showing it self, (the black hole) in the screen, how do I hide it again? Note that I changed a lot of settings and installed good lock , maybe I changed something I'm not aware of.

Last longer ..my foot. Samsung makes sure their phone expires exactly after the 1 year warranty period.
May be you mean the fold5 is made to last a week or 2 longer

Okay. I had a Z Fold2 for nearly 3 years. Because I could upgrade to a Z Fold5 for just slightly more per month, I recently did. If you are considering a folding phone, or considering upgrading, let me share the honest truth that no one else is telling you: There is very little noticeable difference in everyday use between the older versions of the Z Fold and the latest version. That is because, from the Z Fold2 and up, they have all been totally amazing phones. The hinge doesn't matter. The weight difference is negligible and unnoticeable. The most noticeable improvements are a better battery life, brighter, more crisp, display, and more memory. If you are thinking about an upgrade, I would do a side-by-side comparison first in order to see if it's really worth it.

I own a galaxy note 20 ultra. Is this camera on the fold 5 better than that one? Also I have a 1TB SD card included in my note so could i order a fold with more GB? PLEASE someone help me decide lol
