I'm getting reports that they JUST started posting YT and Reddit ads late this morning. lol
ОтветитьWhat I want to know is why the fuck is it only a 6-7 hour game?! Very disappointing for a sequel to the original. They had 7 years to make it and it's a sequel which should be bigger and better in every way than the first game. Is this the next mismanaged Xbox game? I think making it so short was a fuck up.
ОтветитьBro I think they just realize this isn’t a game worth mass marketing and it’s gonna market itself to its target player by simply just being a great game
ОтветитьHellblade 1 was a good experience. Copped it from Steam for $3, no regrets there.
ОтветитьLove your videos man, it’s my favorite thing to watch when winding down for the night 👌🏻
Ответитьhow do they spent seven years to make a game that is only 6 hours long?
ОтветитьI've seen so many ads for this. Even front and centre when i turn the Xbox on. What am i missing?
ОтветитьNo review codes yikes
ОтветитьIt's a long shot but maybe they had wishlist and pre-order targets and they met them with no marketing
ОтветитьAny source for the background music for this video? Sounds familiar but can't remember the game its from for the life of me.
ОтветитьSubbed. Very informative video that isn't just a surface level hate video like other channels.
ОтветитьDamnit we have waited YEARS. GIVE US MORE. Also if it's bad I'm STILL buying it.
ОтветитьI own an Xbox and a PC, but I primairly game on the Xbox. Mostly because it's where my friends are and the majority of my games have been purchased. But if MS closes Ninja Theory, that may be it for me. I don't think I'd ever purchase a game on Xbox again. That'd be one time too many
ОтветитьNGL I thought the game was already out.
ОтветитьReason there’s no marketing in stores and etc is because it’s digital only
ОтветитьNice to hear from you. As always.
ОтветитьThe problem: Senua isn't a AAA Blockbuster style game and XBox has now made it clear that if you aren't COD they don't give a fuck
Ответитьfwiw Ive been getting a ton of hellblade ads on HBO
ОтветитьThey don’t need to market it..u are doing it for them 😊
ОтветитьLet it flop, its just another boring movie wannabe videogame, bring me something good ffs
ОтветитьIt isn't incompetence. It's the game industry doing exactly what it does best: ruining games. These things are all connected, the layoffs, broken games, microtransactions, always online requirements, AI, and marketing. Publishers don't value videogames, and don't believe in quality. They treat games like pieces of shit to be pumped out as fast as possible, with as many grifts attached as they can manage. And they don't think twice about sabotaging game development with corporate mandates, or sabotaging releases by pulling funding for marketing. From their point of view, nothing they produce has any value outside of what it does for their investor reports.
Every new release is a new story about whatever dumb bullshit they're doing this time. It's a mistake to believe it's just a fluke. What's happened to Hellblade is what we should expect from these companies from now on, same with Hi-Fi Rush. Just like how what happened with Cyberpunk, Redfall and Starfield continues to happen again and again.
Dude got the bag a said deuces!! Lol
ОтветитьPretty sure I saw advertisement for the game at Amazon Prime already some days ago.
ОтветитьI got pretty apprehensive when I noticed that it's only $50.
ОтветитьIt’s on Gamepass 🤷♂️ so marketing it is basically money wasted, Starfield was a bit different as that’s the kind of game people wanted to own themselves, but being as this is known to be a short game very few people are going to buy it other than collectors. It’s already cost 100’s of millions of dollars and most people who want to play the game will have finished it in a couple of days 🤷♂️ the last thing they want to do is spend even more money on this.
ОтветитьI don't feel so good Scoob
ОтветитьCalling it now: the game is going to be a critical success, but will flop comercially, after which Microsoft will close Ninja Theory in order to save money, if you think this sounds familiar, its because it is.
ОтветитьBro the background music D:
ОтветитьI think the game will probably be fine. I think it's a victim of the same issue that led to the closing of the game studios. Microsoft probably doesn't think that Hellblade 2 will rake in 100's of millions of dollars (probably more like 10's of millions), so its trying to save the marketing money so they try to balance their books better after the Activision/Blizzard purchase. It's just more stupid cost cutting.
ОтветитьXbox and Microsoft aren't incompetent. They know exactly what they are doing. They have over spent on buying Activision and now they need to improve their bottom line. Hellblade2 is not a blockbuster so they don't care about it, thats it. Not worth investing marketing dollars in. I don't agree with it but Xbox have now become a gaming version of major Hollywood studios. Only the blockbusters matter, everything else is pointless. So sad.
ОтветитьI wonder if they got screwed over by as you said redfall/starfield being heavily promoted and didn't get the money they wanted, so are nervous about this game wether it's good or not.
ОтветитьI have absolutely no idea why everyone is putting all their Xbox eggs into the Hellblade 2 basket.
My buddy got me the first one as a gift, and it was alright, but thats it. It was a borderline walking sim where you solve a light puzzle, listen to some voices, and once in a while do some light combat.
I smell a turd sandwich. The fact that it's not getting promoted makes me feel like it's not going to be good calendar.
I could be wrong but it's kind of like they're trying to hide the game. When Stellar blade was about to be released they did not hide the gameplay or any aspects of that game they even gave you a demo
But something about hell blade 2 it's very off I'm not getting a good feeling about it at all. I don't even hear anybody mentioning it at all and that's very unusual
I think Xbox has realized that Everytime they hype and market a game the world shits on it and calls it trash ( they usually are ) so maybe they are taking a different approach here
ОтветитьNot my type of game. Pirated the first one, played for like what feels 20 minutes, got stuck on a puzzle. Googled it and never even thought of these games again.
Sadly these ones feel like they're purely "look how pretty everything is" more than a game.
I saw a notification tab on my Xbox, but said I could pre-download it and then I saw when it’s slated to come out and I was like, “Woah!” But very little marketing prior🤔
ОтветитьMicrosoft couldn’t spot a “w” even if it shadow dropped on gamepass.
ОтветитьI smell another Redfall
ОтветитьThis is so true!
ОтветитьI've been waiting to play this game for a fat minute
ОтветитьMan, you really need to stop picking your face!
ОтветитьWhy is there no actual gameplay anywhere?
ОтветитьLegit had this game on my Steam wishlist for a while now but didn't even know the release date until this video. I thought it was coming out later in the year, like in the fall or something.
I will quit supporting Microsoft gaming altogether if they let this game fall through the cracks. I can't forgive them. The first game was one of the best games I have ever played and Ninja Theory are fucking gods at what they do.
it been a rough 11 years for xbox, not a week or so 😐...
Ответитьi did not like what they dod with dmc, but learning it was more capcom/inafune's doing i mellowed out to them.
it is weird that this is going on, did they not make a live service game for microsoft the closed down?
The Xbox app just pushed an ad for this game to my fucking watch… idk wtf people are talking about I can’t stop seeing ads for the game lol regardless of how many times they remind me of this game, I’m not getting the game. I have literal negative interest in “painted face women yells and shows teeth” the game.
ОтветитьLook, let's be honest. Hellblade 1 was relatively successful, but it's not a AAA game that MS is trying to get behind. HB2, like it's predecessor, will be a straight forward, 8 to 12 hour single player game that is one half action and one half walking sim. MS wants love service games that will be massive in scope and can be easily monetized into regular revenue streams. HB2 is not that type of game.
ОтветитьI hope to the Old Norse Gods that the drawn-out development isn't a sign that XBox executives went in and force-injected a bunch of changes to meet ESG & DEI quotas. I, for one, no longer pre-order games due to all the shenanigans we've encountered over the past couple of years. Between games releasing in unplayable, buggy states and games coming out with lore and stories destroyed with ESG & DEI pollution, I no longer trust anyone and wait to see what reviews from those I trust have to say.
ОтветитьThat will not be a huge game-
Regardless of advertisement, this game is gonna sell what it’s gonna sell.
