She must really struggle getting through the airport unless she gets some kind of transport. She gets out of breath talking, I can't imagine the huffing and puffing when she gets on the plane.

I've been on 2 flights longer than 13.5 hours. Frankly, anything over 8 is when i start to go nuts.
I fly internationally often, and by now, you think Chantal would stop flying like an amateur 😂

I truly don’t know how Foodie manages these flights. I’m overweight, but way way smaller than her (I’m around 5’7” and 205 lbs) and last year I flew from Seattle to Singapore and that flight was BRUTAL. I felt like I couldn’t fit in anywhere and on the way home when I was in the aisle seat, people ran into me constantly. I can’t imagine the extra seat really makes it that much better…

I didn't realise that you were in Vermont. We live in Hamiton, in Southern Ontario, and years ago my sister went to Middlebury. My Mum and I did a couple drives a year down to see her. It wasn't until the first time we went down that I realised how close she was to Montreal. There were French Canadian TV channels on the hotel television, and in the winter, the local news gave the weather conditions for ski slopes in Quebec because so many people went up there for the weekend to dki. Which I never understood...why don't people just stay in Vermont and ski. None of us have been back since she finished at Middlebury, and that's a shame because I thought it was beautiful there. BTW, we're not rich, by any means, and she certainly wasn't a legacy student. My sister was the poor kid who got to Middlebury on her great grades, a crapload of scholarships, bursaries, and grants, and a sizeable loan, and she worked 2 jobs all the way through college. She used to tell us stories about all the kids from some of the richest families in the world that she went to school with. We were most in awe of the art that these people owned. One girl was upset because when she went home for the summer, her mother had swapped out the charming Matisse in her bedroom for a Renoir that her mother knew she hated.😳 My sister felt lucky that she still had a bedroom when she came home for the summer, because she was afraid one of our sisters, who shared a room, was going to claim it. No one took her Wham poster off the wall.🤣
