It's crazy how some fella was living 7 million years ago with no idea that we would find his skull in the ground all those eons later
ОтветитьAfrica - you’re welcome, Humans.
ОтветитьSome say that Humans are apes
ОтветитьEarly humans did not just stand up straight and walk it was a gradual thing so humans walked on their hands and feet still until we devloped the spine better and just used our hands less for walking until we just don't use our hands at all for walking and is why it's uncomfortable to walk on all 4's.
ОтветитьIt's not the voice but her whine-like inflections that are hard to listen to.
ОтветитьPlease do more stuff on bipedalism! Its been 5 years. Im sure the science has changed 😮
ОтветитьKangaroo
ОтветитьThe australopithecines were NOT our ancestors. Mary Leakey has never accepted this view either...only the Americans who found Lucy believe it.
Ответитьthey aren't our closest relatives but i think baboons are one of the most interesting apes since they resemble us in so many ways, including walking on two feet, as well as having a diverse diet
ОтветитьLul
ОтветитьI would love to see a video on the semi-aquatic ape theory to explain our bipedal behavior and other major differences from other primates.
ОтветитьYou know what they say. Climber in the trees biped on the ground.
ОтветитьIsn't Gods creation amazing
Ответить🏃And to think I have the luxury to enjoy running Cross Country is because of this.🏃♀️
Ответить👍👍👍
ОтветитьBiggest mistake EVER!! Ya We HAVE to pay bills, Go to School & Work! Forced to take care of other animals, Against our Will. And Working & more. A HUGE mistake! We should still be in the WILD & Free!! Should be OUR choice! Such a Disgrace
ОтветитьThe definite sign of our humanity is our consent to pay taxes
ОтветитьGoing from walking on four legs to two seems like quite an evolutionary leap. The hypothesis that the transitional form before bipedalism walking on three legs is compelling. The tripedal "missing link", as it were.
ОтветитьSame voice as that receptionist in Office Space.
ОтветитьI don't think we begin By standing up right and walking . I think it began we started running upright. And we all know the law of the jungle it's Not if I can run faster than the tiger it's can I run faster than you. Our body Is designed for running not walking. I think if we walked we would have hoofs
ОтветитьWasn't it the big o'l dino's that bipedaled around first? Am I trippin?
Ответитьthe great question remaining is, why the Ape species we have nowadays isn"t developing ?
ОтветитьTo exclude apes from the monkey group is to render monkeys a paraphyletic group because, Old World Monkeys are closer related to us than they are to New World Monkeys.
ОтветитьOur ancestors were walking upright before our lineage split from other apes. All ape species walk upright. Humans are unique in that we walk upright as are main way of walking, and for longer periods of time.
ОтветитьWhy did the first humans come from Africa??
Ответитьit started in india in sindu sarasvati civilization
ОтветитьMillions of years from now, I wonder if archaeologists will consider us to be an intelligent species.
ОтветитьNo way that a 6ft5 Icelandic man and a Kenyan long distance runner are the same species.
Boggles my mind how diverse humans are
ahahahahahahhahahaha humans are only 15,000 years old.. they were apes
Ответитьmy goanna would stand up on 2 legs regularly but was only before feeding time and never after a feed.. I believe animals get higher to have more of a view, my goanna was not aborial (He wasn't a tree dwelling goanna) his species are found in high temperature sandy desserts in the top of Australia, maby standing up in search of food was also a reason to start standing (chimps being oboreal had no reason to stand).. just a though I had when noticing my goanna standing was a way of telling me that his feeling a bit peckish..
ОтветитьOh!!! I have a necklace with O. Tugenensis' leg bone as the pendent from miniminuteman's series on ancient hominids! I love learning about the history of humans and how we interacted with others. This channel also does a great job of recognizing where fossils came from and the fact that they put the specific or semi specific names of indigenous groups is incredible.
ОтветитьEarly man would never have learned to walk upright
if the early grocery stores had not put all the beer
on high shelves.
!
To walk upright we had to develop great butt muscles!
I like big butts!!!
What happened to the theory that we were near the ocean and needed to stand upright in the shallow water to catch fish and not drown. This also explains why we are the only animal to sweat both water AND salt
ОтветитьThank you huge African Grasslands.
ОтветитьI feel more like a Bonobo than a Chimp.... gosh i hope we came from Bonobos, chimpanzees are jerks
Ответить~ Walking developed as a survival coping mechanism & became necessary as forests became decimated to make room for grasses & prairies.
It also became a synonymous evolutionary 'step', as pre-modern-day humans began roaming the lands instead of the trees, per as peeking over grasses became necessary to be wary of predators, thus becoming the Homoerectus species, who are predominantly Asian in nature.
I deduced this evolutionary step developed about about the same time & during the time of 'Lucy' & her ancestry.
Complex audible sounds were also developed around this time, as opposed to coded warning cries that had been used when tree dwelling was predominant.
The fact that we’re the only mammalian bipeds was brought up in my anthropology class, and someone mentioned kangaroos. My professor’s response was that they have tails and use them to cheat.
ОтветитьPlease, please, the speaking goes way too quick. Not natural. Allow me to follow the story.
ОтветитьI hope we find more fossils of these hominids
ОтветитьStand up comedy
Ответитьjust realized she has wide shoulders
ОтветитьImpressed with the critical importance of the upright neck and periscope advantages then possible. That sets us on a path to increasing height and more open environment. We traded both running speed and climbing agility, but became very adept at judging ''safe distance'' tending taller and smarter through the ages.
ОтветитьFarting around a camp fire after dinning on the days kill, was humanity’s first act of comedy. Comedy has come a long way and humans too
ОтветитьChad... the only country in Africa with an extremely Caucasian name😆
Ответитьnew studies show nuckle walking is a new evolutionary adaptation develope independently by chimps and gorilllas previous apes were bipedal
Ответитьwho was the first to gain sapience? awareness of selff, higher level thinking, etc?
ОтветитьDumb apes need to stop breaking there bones
Ответить
