I am an hindu and will remain officially so but I believe in Christ only but I really am proud of my Indo Aryan heritage and it makes me sad that after adopting christianity the christians started to call themselves as descendent of israelites which is disrespectful to our shared ancestors

I’ll sum it up Arab is to Hebrew as Muslim is to Jew or Islam is to Judaism.

Types of hebrews are Ashkenazi Sephardic Ethiopian and types of Arabs are Iranian Saudi Palestinian.

For example both Arabs and hebrews can be Christian or Jewish or Muslim or atheist or whatever.

Religion has infested itself into culture and lashes out to any perceived danger to its entrenched nature.
It can be removed and the only threat is other people.

Religion originates as superstition and myth, naive belief of it is childish.
Celebrating Christmas is great and fun.
Believing Santa is real is childish.

seems legit to equate the changing of political beliefs and religious beliefs so maybe you'll provide some evidence to support the idea that people fluidly change from qanon Trump supporting conservative Republicans to socialists or Bernie Bros changing becoming proud boys and Trump supporters...not gonna hold my breath

To put it simply....there is: truth, falsehood, and then there is half-truth. It's for every soul do come to the realization of what the truth is. It will be very blatent for other humans to dictate and impose what the truth is. Happy searching :)

This is something I’ve tried to tell people about Judaism for a long time. Theirs a reason prior all around the world immigrate to Israel and feel a cultural similarity; they are, for the most part, the same people fundamentally.

i never saw how that easter ishtar connection works, since in many languages, like the hebrew, aramaeic, and for this context more important, latin its reffered to as Pascha, which is just its hebrew root. and as far as i know, easter is just a word used for it in the germanic language sphere.
I think it more realistic, that just some practices were assimilated into the christian context.

There were 124000 Prophets mentioned but 25 names are mentioned in the Quran. The point is, whichever compass point we start from we are going to the same point in the centre. Religious scholars have related Allah has 3000 names. 1000 are only known by Angels. 1000 only by Prophets. 300 are in the Torah. 300 in the Zabur (Psalms of David). 300 in the New Testament. 99 in the Quran and one is hidden by Allah called Ism Allah al-a'zam. So, all these old religions are also heading to the same point in the centre. Explosions?

Most Indian Muslims came from either 1.) forced conversions in northern India or 2.) Arab traders and saints in Kerala/ some parts of southern India. So yes there was inter religious mixing during the 1000 years of Islamic invasion and plunder. But as the centuries went by and they became more of a permanent group less and less did hindus and Muslims mix especially in the modern era.

If religious people were just able to realize that their beliefs are not the universal truth but just part of the identity of their geographical and/or social background! Is it so hard to realize? Open your eyes, you all have been brainwashed! I guess this very notion is probably the greatest taboo; you are terrified of questioning this as any hint of this kind of thoughts will fill your imaginary god with wrath and hate towards you and hell or something similar will open wide to you. So, you may think it's not worth the risk. Too bad you can't even start considering this idea and start on your path to freedom.

The traditional Christian name for Easter is Pascha (Passion in English) and it is only English that calls it Easter. This is derived from Eostre. Specifically, Eostre was the name of a month in the ancient Saxon calendar, and it happened to be the month that Pascha was celebrated in, so Pascha became known by the name of the month is fell in.

The Venerable Bede claimed that the month Eostre was named after a Saxon deity, and modern linguists also speculate that there was a fertility deity named Eostre, but there is no direct attestation of the existence of this deity outside of Bede.

Eostre would not be related to Ishtar/Astaroth. The similarity in names is coincidental, as one is Indo-European and one is Semitic.

Easter would also not be named directly after the deity Eostre, but rather named after the month which in turn is named after Eostre.

It would be as if, after Easter's date is fixed to March, it becomes known colloquially as 'March' because it is the celebration that occurs in March. This would not mean it was named directly after Mars, the god of war.

Islam is not from the Middle East. Africans are more Muslims than the Middle East, all of North Africa, East Africa like Somalia, Djibouti and sudan.chad, Comoros, Mayotte, Burkina Faso, The Gambia, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Western Sahar, Nigeria and many other Africans who are 95-100% Muslims which the Middle East is not.
Other Asians like Pakistan, Indonosia, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Maldives, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, turkey and many others. stop making islam a arab religion it is for everyone. all the countries i have written and those i did not get are 95-100% muslim and proud. not all Arabs are Muslims.

It’s easter only word in English. In most of Orthodox Church it’s called holy pasha or vaskrs, uskris. Christ was actually born in December, the scholars have long ago calculated his birthday in accordance to the holy scripture. Read St. John Crystom on Christs birthday. Most issues today about the Christian religion have been disproven long ago. Also Holloween is not a religious but a cultural holiday, brought to America by the British colonists.

All religion is trash, but specifically, Islam and Christianity. Christianity in the US is practiced by any nationality, though when we see a Muslim, they're Arab or of Arabian or Middle-eastern descent.
Most Christians in the US are Catholics, though Catholicism acts like a sect, or club, or secret society and not like a denomination. French, Hispanics, etc are mainly Catholic. It's kinda hard to not mix ethnicity and religion or spirituality together, as many 'South Asians' are Buddhists or Hindu/Hindi, Chinese are mainly atheistic and Shintoism is mainly a Japanese religion.
Also, Russians are Orthodox or Jewish [ for some reason. I don't understand the Jewish Diaspora, or claim to], Slavs are Orthodox or some other form of Christianity though nowadays many Eastern Europeans are Atheistic, Irreligious or Agnostic.
