ok so i purchased the same one and i went from 43 mbps with the built in adapter to 130 mbps with the antenna but after the first day the antenna also is only getting 43 mbps, any ideas or sugesstions?

The drivers don't live on the device. When you connect the device to your USB, it sends a device ID which Windows recognizes and quickly installs the driver for it.

when i plugged in the usb adapter its on 5ghz and it says 800mbps but when i test the speed im at 80 or lower... how to fix?
