Top 10 Dogs for Seniors

Why aren’t any of the dogs recommended for seniors large dogs instead of all these little ankle biters?? I only like big dogs & I’m 71 years old, female. It blows me away that no one thinks we would like large dogs. That’s insane to speculate & make a decision for all seniors such as only a small dog would be good for them. I would never want a little dog when I feel safer with a big dog & I have had 3 shepherds, a golden retriever, & a Rottweiler which all have been the most intelligent, affectionate, well behaved loving dogs that were our family pets & wonderful with my children & grandchildren & also excellent with people came to our house. The only time any one of them would not be friendly with a visitor was if they sensed that person was not a good person. In that case, they were always spot on with sensing correctly. But did not ever attack anyone just would growl as a warning . We then knew they were letting us know to be careful of that person. Each of the breeds I mentioned we owned were wonderful & loved by us & any of our friends as well.

What about the Yorkshire terrier?

I guess the Belgian Malinois we’re Is not the best breed for
Senior citizens . Lol
