“What an infantile idea. What a heartless, wicked, brainless thing to do!”
Ответитьгде русский вариант?
ОтветитьWell, she bent the knee, didn’t she.. beautiful movie non-the-less..
ОтветитьThis scene gets me every time! From that last line of his to his face when he hears her voice
ОтветитьCould someone here tell me, what does the song say? I honestly don't speak English and I haven't found the subtitled song.
Ответить:-)
ОтветитьI asked my mom when i was younger why she went back to him after being rude towards her, and I'll always remember her saying: bc she loves him ❤.....i love this movie and music....i now relate now that im 15
ОтветитьI've the opinion that Rex was an utter swine in real life.....but he is marvellous in this film .
ОтветитьI think professor Higgins really loved Eliza but was too stubborn to admit it even to himself until the very end.
ОтветитьThe recording audio played here doesnt fit the original recording from the real early scene. Does Anybody knows if they could do this audio editing in 1910? Maybe it was possible. Hard to think they didnt notice this...
ОтветитьThis man reminds me of my dad… the jumps and overly exaggerated tone of voice. 🤣
ОтветитьIt's such a miracle that anyone would find that the only thing to do with Rex Harrison was to make him a singer and a leading man. He filled a space all of his own.
ОтветитьKasi kahit gaano kaganda at kabago ang sapatos mo, isusuot mo parin sa bahay Ang lumang tsinelas mo. Kasi ito Ang komportable.
ОтветитьRex Harrison is a genius !❤❤
Ответитьimo this is where the musical fails. She shouldn’t be with Henry. He is a classist, sexist ghoul, typifying the self congratulating intellectuals of the British upper classes. He can barely understand Eliza in terms of being a human being with a mind and a will of her own. She can’t be his lover because she wouldn’t tolerate being dominated like that. This ending is such a let down.
ОтветитьLove this movie ! Why doesn’t u tube put it on its program list the cheep bums
ОтветитьThe video quality is poor.
ОтветитьRex harrington is the definition of tsundere
ОтветитьUnexpressed love for a person could be the most painful and heart wrenching experiences ever. When you are in a relationship at least you have tasted of the love. What Rex Harrison feels in this scene is a pain I never want to have again. His love had left his life without him ever expressing his love for her, and now he is completely empty. I went through it. It's a little hell on earth.
Thank God for him Eliza came back. My love never did!! 💔😢
Not trying to be too Modern or Topical but "growing accustomed" is a huge factor in long-term-relationships. "Me & She" called it quits 5 years ago. "Familiarity breeds contempt" / "Absence makes the heart grow fonder."
ОтветитьOMG! What a horrid man...!😢😢😢😢
ОтветитьI consider their final, deep, mentally fused, stirred relation, as the epitome of a selective, sensitive human phenomena where, what their natural sensors detect and feel for each other, cannot ever be described accurately by the sound or written artificial symbols of any formal language, be it the richness of the vocabulary which he, as a language professor, can master and project, nor she, with her uttered instinctive tribal noises, express her vision of the reality they were now living, in her own cockney dialect. It is a unique time when, a wise, emotional and sentimental man and a woman can say a lot to each other just by remaining silent, where a gaze in each other's eyes and a hug, would set the heart pumping and would "say much more" than the illusions, the shadows and the images of reality, that any language symbols, can form.
ОтветитьIt's one one of the most most romantic scenes, just in the irony of it. Neither her one wants to admit it, but they're in love. When Henry finally dropped his pretense and and admitted to himself he had fallen, well, it was a touching moment.
ОтветитьThat's a perfect interpretation. how many of us have done it, and how many times?💘😎
ОтветитьI’ve never seen a man trying to talk himself out of the fact he’s totally in love with someone more articulately than this.
ОтветитьWell in the book that this was taken from called Pygmallian which I haven't read but I know that she goes for Freddy in the book they changed it for the play and movie don't know which she would have been better off with because Freddy was broke LOL
ОтветитьA perfect song for that moment when you realize you've fallen in love with someone who annoys you to no end lol
ОтветитьThe beginning is so hilarious to me. Higgins walks down the street as frantic bombastic music plays, and then all of a sudden yells "damn! Damn! Damn! Damn!" 😆
ОтветитьMost interesting musical. Though I wouldn't want that man if he was the last on the planet. Too low. Too dirty. Yikes! The Hungarian princess at least is a good girl, she is!
ОтветитьI increasingly dislike this ending. Henry Higgins doesn't learn a damn thing and Eliza is trapped in a relationship where she does all the giving and catering to his whims. Time for a remake. LOL
Ответитьbrings tears to my eyes... every... single... time
ОтветитьOne of my all time favourite movies. Absolute perfection.
Such a pity they've forgotten how to make something this brilliant.
I have the movie on my computer.
ОтветитьDid Higgins eventually fall in love with Eliza?
ОтветитьBeautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
ОтветитьBest film ever
ОтветитьClark D. S. Jimmy Durante sang of memories belonging to wonderful songs. Movies too! This is some great stuff.
ОтветитьА любовь зла....нервы,нервы!!
ОтветитьThat split second his face changes to almost total happiness when he realizes she's right there is simply priceless
ОтветитьJesus, after 50 years I had forgotten it was the last scene. Genius...
ОтветитьFind your own damn slippers.
Ответить:-)
ОтветитьAnd not a line was sung well.
Ответить"I washed m'face 'n 'ands, before I come. I did."
"Eliza?" "Where the devil are my slippers?"
It's wonderful movies with scenes like this, that taught me how to truly experience emotions.
I can't imagine not crying at the end of "The Notebook".
When Hollywood had class.
ОтветитьMy mother loves this movie
Ответитьomg this man is sick... what a narcissist
Ответить
