to the people who saying HONDA is not HONDA anymore and even Hyundai is still providing good strokes in India:-

hyundai is just playing their games with Indian citizens, providing them useless features in exchange of compromising with underpowered engines and bad build quality, just becuz they want to make profit in India and not care about giving quality like they earlier used to give. In fact every brand is trying to do the same, TATA relying only on 3 cylindered engines and giving the worst service possible, Maruti finding way to make a paper car, renault going non existent, Nissan is already dead. Ever wondered why these happen? it's becuz of our shi tty government policies. In India 80-90% pollution is caused by industries, still government want us to believe our cars are the only reason in emission, forcing us to ki_ll our cars in 15 yrs curious why they don't impose any strict rules on industries? you already know the answer........
Honda on the other is working very hard in terms of engines r&d and finding way to provide people still the good old feeling of the HONDA engines, but it's difficult becuz of our sh_itty government policies now. still Honda have different engines for their car unlike like suzuki providing the same engine in their every car...
Honda is trying to give people what they really "NEED" irrelevant of they what they really "WANT"

sunroof is the most useless feature in India, Indian noobs who go upto higher variant only for sunroof just becuz they want their kids to dry out....

We will not get these kinds of quality products in India because of 2 things
One is because of high taxes and another un scientific speed breakers

I have always loved civic, but the new elantra looks futuristic and better

Why is honda not launching hybrid option of Civic .

Gov should lower tax rate for hybrid cars, if tata, mm and other don't have, it will make them go for that technology once there is lower tax......consumer will get benifit .....

Although it is "sleek, stylish, and fun to drive" the level of road noise will quickly kill your ears and take that fun away. Tylenol should come as standard equipment. Interesting that Toyota, Mazda and VW have all figured the road noise issue, Honda not so much.

4. price under 25-30 lakhs

(you can do cost cut in features but I'm 100% sure this car in india with above specifications will roll out like no other.)

Tail lights on top, brake lights on the bottom (designed to hide them), and turn signals in between. I hate this layout that every manufacturer has been using for about five years now.

Probably +$5000 markups for the hybrid models at local dealership(s) and comes with symphony of road noises.
