Depuis plus de vingt ans où je ai connu ces quartiers ( repartons) la situation s' est empirée dans l' indifférence internationale.Que de ' huecos' trous dans la chaussée des rues dont les bâtiments parfois s' effondrent,Que de détritus non collectés sur les trottoirs.,Que de longues files d' attente pour acheter de quoi subsister...et pourtant encore et toujours des gens dignes qui se déplacent à pied, qui tentent de ' s'en sortira.Mais de se sortir de quoi en fait? Juste de un monde dans lequel le partage des richesses ne se fait plus, un monde paradoxal: égoisme ici,solidarité là.Un cadre de vie d' aprés guerre,( qui ici n' a pas eu lieu)''d'aprés cyclones ( eux bien réels).Pauvre Habana, pauvres cubains contraints de s' expatrier en masse pour verser aprés bien des efforts dans le mirage capitaliste,voire de loin et bien innocemment entretenir ensuite cette aberration humaine planétaire.Oui j'aime la Havane, oui j'aime sa population celle qui ( comme partout) ne magouille pas,celle qui se soucie des anciens laissés pour compte alors qu' ils ont poussé Batista hors de l' île crocodile.Position de nanti qu'est la mienne né heureux dans un milieu ouvrier .Visiter La Havane (et pas Varadero). c' est réaliser l' injustice,c' est garder l' espoir aussi et découvrir tout ce dont l' humain est capable, c' est être emmené à' choisir ou à ne pas changer de camp.Merci pour ces images et ä tous ces acteurs.Ce ne sont hélas pas des figurants: cette vie, ils la vivent au quotidien et il n' est plus que temps que les ' autorités nationales et internationales en prennent conscience car où est finalement la différence de leur comportement avec celle de un puissant Meyer Lansky.? What impresses me most is that the United States doesn't invade this shit country all at once and put these retards who make these people unhappy on the wall. the people to have the freedom to choose how they live. I've been going to Cuba since 1996 and
the government runs contrary to the way that Fidel had first stated his ideas which ,at the time, didn't
include communism. But we know how that turned out. First of all the military own the hotels and the
Cuban government is still building hotels for international companies and leasing the land to the
hotel operators. This is an source of extra income for the government. There is a strong black market
as well where the population can't afford the prices. People are dying, you may even find a deadperson
in the street probably thinkig they are sleeepin. The threat of a disasterous epidemic is always present
given that there is no garbage pickup. The average amount of money a retired person receives is
equal to $12.00 US per month. That could be spent on enough food for one day!
Now that the Rusians and Chinese have been allowed to operate business in Cuba one can only guess
ehat will happen to the Cuban people in the future
