Pellicola davvero stupenda ispirata alla vera storia del' affondamento della Uss Indianapolis, gli effetti speciali sono un pò scadenti ma comunque la sceneggiatura è avvincente e interessante, ci sono degli errori come il fatto che un marinaio non saluterebbe mai scoperto (senza cappello), quindi davvero stupenda e davvero stupenda per me come valutazione è 8,5.

Making this movie was scary AF. Glad all the actors and extras made it back home. Alot of things went wrong filming this. Being 5 to 6 miles out in the gulf of mexico was no joke in recreating the water scenes. Grown ass men feared for their lives.

"Quint" should have been in that cast.

I recently found out my Great Uncle was a survivor. Paul Podish he died in the 80's. Unfortunately I was born after his death and nobody really knows his story. If anyone ever stumbles across something with his name in it share it with me!

Watched the film last night and whilst the story is worth telling and the overall experience was "OK", the CGI would have been called shit 25 years ago! WTF were they thinking when they released that mess?

And gave that an escort , seriously the entire WW2 had less air casualties than the battleship and subs gahd the germans waa great on dog fights sadly they did lost, tbh pretty dumb of the commander who actually gave the mission he , because really no way to supervise the top secret mission? That's on deadly and deep waters?
The commander who gave this order was like "so here's the mission, this is classified so i'm not gonna suprervise it... or anyone in that matter.. goodluck"

you're complaining about the trailer showing too much? you should know the history, I mean it's important, and it's very interesting, what they endured is misery beyond comprehension

The torpedo hit very late.
1100 lives against 800,000 lives, contrasts in the expensive face to face salutation,
between the commander of the Japanese submarine and the captain of the sunken ship.

My great grandad was on that ship and survived.the things those people do for our safety is amazing

Heartbreaking story. Over 900 sailors died. Then the military blamed the sinking on the captain, and then he shiy himself after all the hate mail he received. Sad. And yes this whole story is true.

"Poorly written and shoddily produced" is how one movie critic described this movie.  So sad that this gripping story got ruined by Hollywood hucksters trying to make a quick buck.

This could have been such a great film which demanded so much respect. Nickolas cage couldn't act in a Tom and Jerry cartoon. Utterly hopeless.

Ironic that the bomb was delivered to Guam. Now Kim Jung Un is making another delivery.

They could have really helped this movie by having a moderate part for a character named Quint.

Brave America drops the A Bomb on an already defeated Japan , but hey man it cost a lot of tax dollars it's there now so lets us it .

I watched it. it's not too bad. quite gripping. but it could've been done slightly better. the cgi effects aren't that bad and the sharks shown most are real shots. there's oceanic and what looks like a great white. but I read that they were mostly oceanic white tips by real survivors and some where 15 feet

This movie is pure trash. Wholly inaccurate....disrespectful to the Navy, the officers and enlisted and a stupid telling of the story. Shameful. They made a joke of the Indianapolis story.

Wasn't it mostly tiger sharks that attacked them? That one looks like a great white.
