Wow, this platypus video is absolutely adorable! I can't get over how unique they are with their duck-bill and webbed feet. It's amazing to think that such an unusual creature exists in the wild! Watching them swim around and interact is just the best. They seem so playful and curious. It always fascinates me how diverse and interesting our world’s animals can be. I could watch platypuses all day! Does anyone know more about their habitat or behaviors? I’d love to learn more!

They weren't shrimp in the video, that was a yabby. "The common yabby is an Australian freshwater crustacean in the Parastacidae family. It is listed as a vulnerable species of crayfish by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, though the wild yabby populations remain strong, and have expanded into new habitats created by reservoirs and farm dams." I got that from wikipedia :)

Let's not focus on the spur. I am not terrified at all.

They are really quite extraordinary, and we can easily be infactuated. They are to be respected and adored, which is easy to do when you really think about it.

The spur ... because they are in the human world. In a platypus world, there is no spur. The spur looks very awkward, like a ancient warrior in arms combat, holding well onto a dagger.
Three - avian, reptilian, mammalian. Four - humanian. Actually...I believe.

They build burrows along the river banks. Their homes.
