Nothing new, tehy used to have it on T-62 - Drosd. I think withdrawn after Afganisthan War as it gives more casualties to their own infantry than protection.

the way to stop this system, is that you have to jam the active protections radar. Im pretty sure the us army and the air force knows how to counter this system. Both the US and Russia have great electronic warfare systems. But having Russian tanks with super radars, it just adds more stress to the US and wastes precious time in quick maneuvering battles.

They have upgraded this version and made it in Armata T14 tank

Против неуправляемых снарядов самое то. А вот против управляемых вроде Джава , есть свои средства защиты, аэрозольные облака сбивающие лазерное наведение и т. п. Это в каждой нормальной армии есть. И вооружение нужно иметь разное, и ручное и автоматическое. А то мало ли что.
