An UNDERRATED and EXPERTLY Written Game | Spider-Man: Edge of Time Retrospective Review

I love the love for they Hydra 2099 suit, it looks neat and I love any reference to Miguel's stint in Exiles. I also love the inclusion of Flipside. I do think it would have been funny to have Miguel's cheesy data space suit from when he fought Discord, especially if you could actually rollerblade instead of run.

Are you gonna make a video on Spider-Man Web of Shadows? For me that one is easily the best Spider-Man game to date. I have the Wii version which is particularly great for it's immersive motion controls which really makes it feel like you're swinging. That game is unmatched.

Woaw je ne savais pas tout ça tu l'a apris beaucoup de choses honnêtement j'ai joué aux jeu mais j'avais 6 ou 7 ans et mahleureusemnt je l'ai perdu depuis donc je n'ai pratiquement peu de souvenirs et surtout j'ai jamais fini le jeu mais les soundracks et l'intro plus les design m'ont marqué se jeu est tellement sous-estimé par la communauté des joueurs de jeux vidéos spider-mans t'a vidéo lui rend un belle hommage

Goddamn I hate that so many Activision games aren’t available for purchase. Between these games and the movie tie in transformer games AND THE WFC/FOC GAMES I am FIENDING for some type of remaster of all these fantastic games.

I remember liking the story of the game. I thought the twist of evil Peter would of been better later in the game.

I prefer Edge of Time over shattered dimensions

I recently replayed this game after not playing it for like 7 years. 10/10. I normally dont get hooked to games but I was so hooked to this one!

HOT TAKE Big Mom is one of my favorite antagonists not just in OP but like ever just because of how terrifyingly unpredictable she is if you're not on at least Jimbei's level so like 80% of the OP world

I loved this game and remember it fondly in all aspects except one Miguel O'Hara I hated him as a kid in this game because he was basically spiderman in name only now I'm thinking this was him learning to be spiderman but I still hated him for so long and across the spider verse kinda strengthened that thought.

I had no idea this game had an arena mode! Got it working on emulator as well, def gonna be revisiting the game more cuz of it

This is the only game I platinumed, played it like an absolute animal in 5th grade on my ps3, I think I finished at least 4 playthroughs

Anti-venom is scary as fu$# in this game...

I love spider-man stories that genuinely have that dark tone to them. The only live action I feel that genuinely comes close to this is TASM with Andrew Garfield. Raimi and MCU spidey lack this tone and it kinda reduces the stakes for me.

I love this game and have since it was released...I'm a huge 2099 fan, and I think Christopher Daniel Barnes makes a way better Miguel than he does Peter, and I liked how focused the game feels since it doesn't have to juggle four Spider-Men and can keep things centered on two.

My only real complaint, personally, is that I never really liked how they handled Anti-Venom. Part of the whole point of Anti-Venom is that he's the "good guy" version of Venom. He doesn't eat brains, he's more committed to trying to help people and heal others using his abilities, and he's more willing to work alongside Spider-Man. And yet. They still couldn't resist turning him into an enemy to fight. Despite the fact that Eddie Brock hasn't been a villain since the 90s, despite being a "good" guy for longer than he was a bad guy, despite Anti-Venom being the more heroic counterpart to Venom, they still had to fall back on the tired trend of having Eddie Brock/"Venom" being an antagonist, to the point that they had to make up bullshit and ignore how Anti-Venom works just to make it happen. It annoyed me back then, and it annoys me now.

It’s a shame that this game is valued at a billion dollars over how rare it is. I’d love to play it someday.

This one of the first games as a kid I fully played thru and was completely engaged with emotionally

I remember discovering this game back in 2012-13 and was SHOCKED because At that point my knowledge of Spider-Man consisted of only 1994 Spider-Man and Raimi movies, I had no idea Comics existed let alone that there was a future Spider-Man.

I LOVED Story of this game and the fact that THE Spider-Man was voicing Miguel well it was match made in heaven!

This game singlehandedly opened the world of Spider-Man comics to me and I read 2099 comics after the game as well.

Now i see sentiment that Shattered Dimension is better, but for me Edge Of time will forever be special and the best Spider-Man game along with Web Of Shadows.

Spider-man Edge of Time is the game that I distinctly remember that started my interest in hypothetical science i.e., time-travel etc. It also gave me my favourite version of Spider-man (Miquel O'Hara) besides the classic one
