YOURE WATCHING THROTTLE HOUSE 🗣️🗣️🗣️
ОтветитьYou guys are so easy to listen to! It’s enjoyable to listen to you guys review a vehicle. Definitely puts a smile on my face! Change nothing, keep everything!
ОтветитьSo it's fast but built like a Chevy...can't wait to throw 250k at it...
ОтветитьPOV: You get from SUV in a low car.
ОтветитьHmmm... I think I'll take the money that this costs, buy two Lotus Emiras instead and keep the rest of the money for repairs, insurance and speeding tickets.
ОтветитьTo overheat your instrumentation and turn off randomly... F THAT
Ответить720s all the way
ОтветитьLove that color!!! I like most of the car. I think it would look way better with a glass engine cover like a GT style car has rather than the flat rear deck. The rear brake lights. NO.. Just no. They look way too small for the space. Yes I am aware of how small the P1 lights are. Other than that I really like what they have done here.
Ответить671hp is a bug in the matrix
Ответитьnext do the 750s
ОтветитьI hate those tiny steerin wheels.
ОтветитьYou guys have truly replaced the og tg. Your honesty, comic timing, knowledge and chemistry is top notch. Never lose it brothers.
ОтветитьMcLarens are beautiful but not dependable enough
ОтветитьIts funny that the people that seem to have issues with McLarens reliability are the ones that have tuned them to 1000+ bhp then cry wolf they not reliable, you got to remember that are still relativity a new car company too (not including the F1) yet Ferrari's have their fair share of issues and nothing is said. Porsche have been refining their cars for years by hardly changing the recipe and shockingly they are relatively reliable...
ОтветитьThe fact that this has horrible initial impressions regarding the tech and build issues is PERFECT for obtaining a well sorted example in 2 - 3 years from now…. WAIT 😊
Also i8 👀 (FUTURE CLASSIC) back in 2014-2020 showed the world how much fun hybrid electric/ engine tech synchronization can be.
Hypothetically, I can buy one… I want to, but I also want to drive it
Ответитьwell, the Brits (god bless em) are not known for building good cars. they are famous for building good ships...
ОтветитьALWAYS a brilliant overview from these guys…. The 911 has practically looked the same over three decades, so there should not be a downfall for the front styling especially in this vehicle….. the car is fantastic…. 675hp for gods sake, most cannot handle 400hp …?? WAIT till we see the new 750s McLaren as a hybrid ….. Then that will blow away ALL contenders ….?
ОтветитьYou definitely don’t compare 296 to Artura, if you do you just try to make Artura look bad😂😂😂
ОтветитьWhy would you buy this when a 911 Turbo S exists?
ОтветитьAside from the ending's somewhat apologetical tone, which I find rather annoying, another clear and concise review. Thank you!
I do wonder whether McLaren will be giving you further cars after this though, but I certainly hope for their sake they do. We need this kind of car journalism.
Now as for the car and it's shortcomings, to me this sounds like a very typical modern car manufacturer "oh shit we need to modernise our interfaces" kind of an oopsie. Most car companies are not software houses, and have struggled to adapt to the trends set by those who have - more or less, set the bar for what customers expect from the infotainment etc.
I don't think we need to settle for one or the other however, not at this price point. Well, to be fair, at any point really. I think it's rediculous that these ultra premium brands have the gall to charge upwards of a quarter of a million for a car which is still in beta testing. The Artura clearly must be an amazing vehicle to drive judging by this review, but that does not make it a great car. I say this, because you wouldn't call even the most beautiful house with no heating a great house, or the most perfectly proportioned toilet seat without the ability to flush a great toilet seat. McLaren needs to get their software development game straight, because as is, I don't see them having a great future ahead, if this considered acceptable. Oh, and the build quality issues are laughable as well.
But hey, at least it drives like a dream, and what's a year of software patches to make a car function properly among millionares anyway. It's a work in progress, and you can always use a good car until then, for say, when you want to breathe clean air or such.
Thank you for all your awesome work TH, you always make me smile and learn something new with each video, and that's a gift!
Amazing cinematography
ОтветитьIf you pretend any car doesn't have problems, then every car is fantastic
ОтветитьGuys hands down this is the top car channel- the humor, thedepth of reviews without sugar coating and quality of the footage - all superb. Keep it up!
Ответитьyou have to review 765lt, 600lt and 675lt
ОтветитьInsert British emote
Ответить90+ mph. 😶🌫
Ответитьso McLaren seem to be doing the Porches tactic of design these days.
i.e. Us tracing paper on the last model.
over and over again.
The info-tainment looks like a oversized Apple Watch to me.
ОтветитьSeems like a great buy, especially when you take that legendary McLaren reliability into consideration.
ОтветитьI would go crazy with all those annoyance
ОтветитьThis channel is literally the only currently good thing coming out of Canada. And even content like this is being threatened. Get him out.
ОтветитьThe first one to see on the road was an orange Artura.
ОтветитьMcLaren's reliability is an absolute joke these days and the Artura seems to have broken new levels of ridiculous judging from the reports going on around...
ОтветитьPlease review the McLaren GT!!
ОтветитьMcLaren usually gets around to fixing the mechanical issues with their cars about a year or two after the model is released, so I would wait a couple years before buying one.
ОтветитьThomas says that he would fix this live with that send it to the shop etc. The one thing these McLarens have in common is that they spend more time in the repair shop than in your garage. Think about that before you dish 240k for it, that its going to be driven mainly by mechanics from shop to the parking lot and then back.
ОтветитьBeavis and Butthead just unsubscribed...
ОтветитьI just picture some oily faced bloke building the car...
"Awlou guf'na, dits roight Oi gawta toik mi wrinch heah n nah screw eet thoy can feex eet"
Poor fit and finish, squeaky seats and loose screws, in a car which costs $200K, would trump all its good qualities in my humble opinion. It would spend its life in the shop being repaired under warrenty, if possible.
ОтветитьJames:
"I don't know how McLaren has done this - and kept the wheight down so much"
Car:
rattle squeeek
Can you guys do a review on the 570 now that you drove an Artura?
I'm Extremely curious and like, with how much they depreciated its a huge bargain for a super.
All mclaren cars look the same now, they are the iPhone of the car world.
ОтветитьIt looks ugly!
ОтветитьPara los que quieran comprar una sonaja , es mucho más carro el Corvette C8 Z06 lot $100k dlrs menos .
ОтветитьIt's McLaren 671 hp . Which translates to 771 horsepower give or take
ОтветитьGlad I canceled mine and got a GT3
ОтветитьIt's crazy that British workers produce cars that are sold for Honda, Nissan, etc. in Europe with no issues, but cars made by British workers with British management, or British-owned, are always full of flaws... I really dont get it.
Ответить
