Why are we unparallel?

'Sheershanews YouTube Channel'. It is the first and the only full-fledged news channel till now in Bangladesh. Many news channels have already started working on YouTube, which are now running. But none of these are full-fledged news channels.

The 'sheershanews' channel has taken the initiative of broadcasting 24 hours breaking news of national, international, political, economic, sports, entertainment etc. There is no YouTube-based news channel like this. No full-fledged news channel has been developed parallel to it till now.

The founder of this news channel is Ekramul Hoque, who has been the Editor and Owner of Bangladesh's top popular weekly newspaper for the past two decades.

He founded this popular magazine in 2003 named ÔWeekly SheershakagojÕ. Since its inception, it has been at the top of popularity as a weekly newspaper till now in Bangladesh.

In 2009, he founded 'sheershanews.com', a online news media as a sister media organization of ÔSheershakagojÕ, which gained popularity as the first and foremost online news media in Bangladesh.

In a very short time 'sheershanews.com' became top popular among Bengali speaking people worldwide. At that time 'sheershanews.com' changed the concept of news delivery.

'Sheershanews YouTube channel' has been launched as a sister news media from the same media house.

আমরা কেন অতুলনীয়?

'শীর্ষনিউজ ইউটিউব চ্যানেল'। এটি বাংলায় প্রথম এবং এখন পর্যন্ত একমাত্র পূর্ণাঙ্গ নিউজ চ্যানেল। ইতিপূর্বে ইউটিউবে অনেক নিউজ চ্যানেল কাজ শুরু করেছে, যা এখন চলমান আছে। কিন্তু এর কোনোটিই পূর্ণাঙ্গ নিউজ চ্যানেল নয়। জাতীয়, আন্তর্জাতিক, রাজনৈতিক, অর্থনৈতিক, খেলা, বিনোদন প্রভৃতির ২৪ ঘণ্টার ব্রেকিং নিউজ সম্প্রচারের উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে 'শীর্ষনিউজ চ্যানেল'। এ রকমের কোনো ইউটিউবভিত্তিক নিউজ চ্যানেল আর নেই। এখন পর্যন্ত এর প্যারালাল আর কোনো পূর্ণাঙ্গ নিউজ চ্যানেল গড়ে উঠেনি।

এই নিউজ চ্যানেলের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা একরামুল হক, যিনি গত দু’দশক ধরে বাংলাদেশের সবচেয়ে জনপ্রিয় সাপ্তাহিক পত্রিকার মালিক ও সম্পাদক। তিনি ২০০৩ সালে 'সাপ্তাহিক শীর্ষকাগজ' নামে এই জনপ্রিয় পত্রিকাটি প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন। প্রতিষ্ঠার পর থেকে এখন পর্যন্ত এটি সাপ্তাহিক পত্রিকা হিসেবে জনপ্রিয়তার শীর্ষে অবস্থান করে আছে।

শীর্ষকাগজের সহগণমাধ্যম প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে ২০০৯ সালে তিনি প্রতিষ্ঠা করেন 'শীর্ষনিউজ ডটকম', একটি অনলাইনভিত্তিক গণমাধ্যম- যা বাংলাদেশের প্রথম এবং প্রধান অনলাইন সংবাদ মাধ্যম হিসেবে জনপ্রিয়তা পায়।

অত্যন্ত অল্প সময়েই 'শীর্ষনিউজ ডটকম' বিশ্বব্যাপী বাংলা ভাষার মানুষদের মধ্যে শীর্ষ জনপ্রিয় হয়ে ওঠে। ওই সময় সংবাদ পরিবেশনের ধারণাটাই পাল্টে দেয় 'শীর্ষনিউজ ডটকম'।

একই মিডিয়া হাউজ থেকে সহগণমাধ্যম প্রতিষ্ঠান হিসেবে এবার চালু হলো শীর্ষনিউজ ইউটিউব চ্যানেল।
