Its a German made Safety hand gun, like a flare gun but shoots banger air cartrages

Good video other than being TOTALLY UNSAFE!!! Cock gun insert primer then while holding hammer depress trigger and ease hammer back to rest position. Then insert cartridge. no accidental discharge this way. Like a real gun cock when ready to shoot.

Does it use ordinary bird scaring bangers?

"Bear banger". That's cute. In Germany it's literally called the "Weinbergpistole", for scaring birds away from vineyards. And the "bear bangers" are called "Starenschreck" = Starling scare.
