What do you think of the new wheels? Do you prefer the new or the old Shimano wheel graphics? Let us know in the comments 👇
ОтветитьCampy wheels are the best.
ОтветитьGreat video, in your opinion, are the dura aces better than the dt swiss erc?
ОтветитьAs far as advertisements go this is quite good.
ОтветитьA Very Good Quality Product
ОтветитьI had Dura ace and Ultegra C50 in the past. Was never satisfy with the performance. Sold the Dura Ace and just gave the Ultegra away.
ОтветитьGreat Video. How do you compare to Princeton 4450. Thanks
ОтветитьThey look so good ollie can you pls send me the c50 to me here in Perth wa suburb of Kinross that would put a smile on my wheel, cheers mate 👍🇦🇺
Alex .Lencioni .
Whats the max weight for the rider?
ОтветитьI'm waiting for the new 105's. When will they arrive?
Ответитьlooks insane and cost insane :)
ОтветитьWhat they don't tell you is lower Ultegra hub doesn't have that "instantanious" ratchet engagement. But a 18T system which, if you have tried 36/54T systems feels rubish
ОтветитьDo these wheels come with bearings or loose balls? Does Shimano already produce wheels with bearings?
ОтветитьI really like the new wheels. I probably would go with the 60mm. I like the clutch mechanism, I like the performance upgrades, aerodynamic engineering, what is there not to Love about these wheels. I even like the subdued look of the graphics, would go well with my Black Themed bicycle. Thanks for sharing GNC.
ОтветитьI look forward to riding these in about 4 months when I get my new Pinarello F, but in the meanwhile they look great.
ОтветитьWill Dura Ace c40
Rim clincher wheels (9100) work on Dura Ace 9
Speed?
Had the previous version Ultegra C50 and Dura ace C50. Their slow hub engagement (clunk) everytime I pedal was a turn off for me. Fat spokes made noise in the wind. Nice looking wheels and that was all I thought of them. Hope the new hubs have better engagement.
Ответитьfinding a review in 2022 for these wheels are near impossible and does not exist.
I'd like to see a new video on these wheels with a comparison against others within the same price range.
what a pity ! i prefer rim brakes.
ОтветитьThe issue I now have with cycling is how prohibitively expensive it has become. Who pays 1200 quid for an Ultegra wheelset and why are they 1200? I am positive they are great wheels but are they really worth that much???
ОтветитьOver priced buy winspace
Ответитьlove my Shimano dura ace wheels although I can't upgrade since id need to fork out an additional $4k for 9200 di2 so I can't do it 😪
ОтветитьI bought the ultegra c50 but have not tested them yet on the road. the sound dissapoints a little. only 18 clicks per 360 degree wheelspin. My mountainbike had 54 and i went for an upgrade to 108. Very responsive and the sound is amazing. Probably will not be possible on this hub?
ОтветитьDo the wheels come taped for tubeless direct from Shimano?
Ответитьgood
Ответитьbig carbon wheel graphics: u either do none for the ultimate clean look or go big like ZIPP or HED and so on
ОтветитьAnyone put 28mm or 30mm tires on these wheels? How do they fit, do they keep with the aero profile with the 28mm or 30mm tires?
ОтветитьNice video would be even better with an electric scooter for filming :)
Ответитьnew graphics work for the consumer market where some people prefer the subtlety, but the old big decals seem to favor the pro peloton
ОтветитьHow do these compare to the Bontreager Aeolus wheels?
ОтветитьThey should really do a giveaway with them sometimes.
ОтветитьIt will be upgrade into ceramic bearings??
ОтветитьI am a fan of rim brakes yet I do embrace tubeless tyres, I may be wrong but I heard somewhere that if you want Tubeless with the new wheels you have to go to disc brakes. For how I ride etc, I do not need or want any of the supposed advantages of disc brakes. So I may have to look to other brands for my next pair of deep section wheels.
ОтветитьAs a pro wheel builder I am definitely not a fan of these hubs designs offering straight pull on the drive side and radial on the non drive side. Yes, they are stiff, but in my opinion far too stiff. A great wheel design will offer a perfect balance of necessary stiffness and necessary compliance for comfort. What Shimano is offering is only about stiffness and they seem oblivious to any awareness of comfort. This is an epic fail. An old school J-bend spoke and a hub that enabled the wheel builder to choose the lacing pattern would be much better. The ride quality would far surpass what's on offer here.
ОтветитьWhy are there no new C24 ??!
ОтветитьShut up and take my money! Gimme my C50s!
ОтветитьMORE 50 YEARS OF CUP AND CONE AGAIN!
no way, bring the NTN or SKF Angular Bearings NOW!!
It's a shame you didnt want to take the hub apart (because you were told not to) to show us the direct engagement. Sometimes its the lack of details like this that reduces some the GCN videos to simple advertorials
ОтветитьShimano pricing them selves out the market ?
ОтветитьNo campangolo
Ответить"it doesn't believe in rim brake carbon clinchers"?
And yet they exist : /
AVAILABLE IN 2035
ОтветитьHonestly, the only thing intriguing about the new Dura Ace wheels is the rear hub. The rims are very mundane, nothing special. I'll take the Winspace wheels at less than half the price over new Dura Ace wheelset.
ОтветитьCan a 9100 Dura - Ace free hub body fit on the 9200 free hub? I want to use the C60 wheels on my Dura - Ace 9100 groupset.
Will we see a Dura - Ace 9200 pedal?
Please anyone feel free to let me know!
Beautiful! Love the new smaller logos.
ОтветитьShimano is only 5 years late to the proper rim size party.
