This man was a self-taught guitarist who used his pinky finger which is not common one of the best that ever played the instrument.

Glen Campbell and Steve Wariner…both incredibly underrated guitarists because of their success as singers. Glen is one of the fastest flat pickers I’ve ever heard…period. Wariner can play a blazing country solo and then turn around and play Chet as well as Chet. Legends in my book!

I was a teenager when Galveston and Wichita lineman came out and although I was mostly a R&R kid, I fell in love with Glen Campbell's music. I watched his tv show to see him plat guitar.

The bass player is playing a six-string with two strings removed...love it.

Glen was the male musician that every man in that era wanted to be. A brilliant natural guitar player with a fantastic voice and looks that women drooled over.

I was about ten when I fell in love with Glen Campbell and his work. There is such raw pathos in his voice. They don't make them like this anymore.

Glenn played with the Beach Boys before he did Country music. Unfortunately we want get to see real talent like this anymore. Roy Clark was an extremely talented guitar playee too.

He played at a park right before he got ill. I took my Dad to see him. It was great. His daughter played with them.

I love Glen but I hate all the fancy stuff he played on this beautiful song. It just seemed like his ego took him for a ride. His original solo on the record was simple and beautiful.
