There never was, and never will be, another like Glenn Campbell.
Ответитьbass guy also needs a high fiver
ОтветитьThere are clips of the vietnam war in the background. Is this song about the war?
ОтветитьThis man was a self-taught guitarist who used his pinky finger which is not common one of the best that ever played the instrument.
ОтветитьThat other guy ain’t too shabby either….
ОтветитьGlen Campbell and Steve Wariner…both incredibly underrated guitarists because of their success as singers. Glen is one of the fastest flat pickers I’ve ever heard…period. Wariner can play a blazing country solo and then turn around and play Chet as well as Chet. Legends in my book!
ОтветитьThe voice is from God!
ОтветитьI was a teenager when Galveston and Wichita lineman came out and although I was mostly a R&R kid, I fell in love with Glen Campbell's music. I watched his tv show to see him plat guitar.
ОтветитьThe bass player is playing a six-string with two strings removed...love it.
ОтветитьLove this song.
ОтветитьThere's a video on YT of Steve Lukather jamming with Glen. He's so happy to be there. When a guitarist as good as Steve is awestruck, you know Glen is something special. RIP Glen❤
ОтветитьGlen was the male musician that every man in that era wanted to be. A brilliant natural guitar player with a fantastic voice and looks that women drooled over.
ОтветитьFantastic!
ОтветитьBeyond brilliant
ОтветитьI was about ten when I fell in love with Glen Campbell and his work. There is such raw pathos in his voice. They don't make them like this anymore.
Ответить😊 when we were growing up as kids we always loved the cowboy because the Cowboys made it safe, God bless the Cowboys to make our food and everything for US president Trump is protected
ОтветитьHe's one of my most prouder Americans and look at the licks he got off that guitar door and that's all he's a true American
ОтветитьGlen was without a doubt one of the best guitarists on the planet. He is truly missed! Rest in peace Rhinestone Cowboy!!
ОтветитьBe helped to play live by his family supporting his very move whilst in the grip of a degenerative disease - words I dont have to express how it affects me every time but I guess you folks now how...
ОтветитьYou guys ever feel that kick he does near the end. Miss you Glenn
ОтветитьAmazing talent ! His television show in the late sixties was as terrific .
ОтветитьThis is what i want to be
ОтветитьHe was a studio musician before he became a famous vocalist.
ОтветитьGreat song by a great artist, but Galveston sucks.
ОтветитьHe was a hell of a picker.
Ответитьridiculous, just a mess
Ответить❤❤
ОтветитьOne of the top 3 greatest AX singers to walk this earth Glenn was the man for sure and could do it on a 12 string just as well ,Eddie vanhalen wanted lessons from green country pickers are the best
ОтветитьMi ex
ОтветитьA shame he lost his singing voice later in his career. You can hear it here being off.
ОтветитьAfter this He got so hammered drunk and everyone was sick of his sh!t no one would take him home so he drove and got a DWI
ОтветитьGlen can shred for sure! He can definitely scare tf out of many metal guitarists!
ОтветитьR.i.p. glen ❤
ОтветитьSpeecless ❤
ОтветитьMy God, we Glenn ever GREAT......r.i.p.
ОтветитьIt breaks my heart every time I watch one of these videos of Glenn playing before a massive audience. It's such a great loss.
ОтветитьIs that Vince gill
ОтветитьBest guitar player the Beach Boys had!
ОтветитьGlenn played with the Beach Boys before he did Country music. Unfortunately we want get to see real talent like this anymore. Roy Clark was an extremely talented guitar playee too.
ОтветитьUnderrated ain't the word for it great guitarist
ОтветитьWhat about the one at Branson? That one was stupid too, unreal I think he got three ovations during the solo. I only saw once and I can't seem to find it again.
ОтветитьSomewhere Roy Clark is saying, "@#$%!"
ОтветитьMost talented ever
ОтветитьDaelectro Baritone solo to kick it off.
ОтветитьHe played at a park right before he got ill. I took my Dad to see him. It was great. His daughter played with them.
ОтветитьI love Glen but I hate all the fancy stuff he played on this beautiful song. It just seemed like his ego took him for a ride. His original solo on the record was simple and beautiful.
ОтветитьMiss you Glenn. Great songs and guitar playing. Thanks
ОтветитьHaha, Glen "The Shredder " Campbell !!
ОтветитьDude had chops
ОтветитьHe was one of the famous Wrecking Crew who played as session musicians on so many hits recorded in LA in the 60s
Ответить
