I remember when he played at the prison, and raised the vibes in town so hard. That weekend we took the children to SF to join him at the children's Thanksgiving concert. It was a fantastic week. 16 years later here I am again, and the kids + grandkids are still grooving along with me, to the love vibes. xo magic Michael...

So you live in Hunters Point I was born in 1962 I grew up on the Geneva my home was number 1 Costello Street blocks away from the Cow Palace I went to grade school at John McLaren

The first song he sings, "Pray for Grace", the last few lines "Grace finds beauty in ugly things / Grace finds goodness in everything" are sampled from the song Grace by U2. Thought that was cool bc my dad was a mega fan of both Michael Franti and U2. Michael is such a great performer

I lost my mom 5 days ago and Michael’s music has gotten me through this darkness. Grab the ones you Love Close. From my ♥️to whoever’s reading this today♥️

Wow! He is so good live! I was crazy about 'Disposable Heroes' but then lost track of Mr Franti somewhere along the way....... :/ What an amazing guy. He makes you feel like he has some kind of spiritual anointing on him as well as being one of the finest lyricists I have come across. He has a PRESENCE about him..... Big respect! :)
