I know I’m super late to finding your channel- but I think it’s important to know why people may not like America - I know it’s obvious in some places, but others it’s not. In Cambodia, most of the poverty you see today can be directly linked to Henry Kissinger and the Americans who dropped a record number of bombs on Cambodia for 2 years during Vietnam. Essentially for no good reason, and we torched and burned 60% of the total land area. Many historians and travel nuts come back from Cambodia with a different view of America than when they went in!

Watching this video was disturbing. What I see is a privileged white person dehumanizing the Cambodian people. At the beginning of the video he accuses a woman and her son who is a small business owner of likely ripping him off. He then goes on to make fun of them by showing some weird video of how to measure gas. I’m guessing if she knew that he made this accusation then shared it with world she would be genuinely bummed. Cambodians have a great deal of dignity and are caring people. I’m thinking she would also be sad and worried that his false accusations would hurt her family’s livelihood. Unfortunately, his insensitivity not does stop there. He accused a Khmer man of asking the white woman to “suck him dry”. What the freak. I think he was asking them politely how are you? I believe once again if this gentleman knew this, he would be both upset and sad. Remember this stuff is being shared with the world and I believe that he is dehumanizing the Cambodian people through this video. It is also likely that the folks he is dehumanizing (making fun of) are direct survivors or children or grand children of the Khmer Rouge genocide. Haven’t they suffered enough. Unbelievable!
