I didn’t know this was scripted until I read the comments, but the weight of this skit reigns true. As men were expected to provide, continue as if nothing happened, given no time to grieve. After the recent loss of my father I understood this. That I was to comfort my mother and sister, and handle the after death responsibilities of my late father. If this was real, I’d respect this man for dealing with this situation so stoically. I was not graced with such stoicism, but faked it till the end for my mother and sisters sake. More important for them to have a shoulder to cry on rather than me. Truth is, as depicted in this skit, life goes on. Doesn’t stop for a second for a man’s healing or grieving. Tell your loved ones you love them while they are still here, for you never know when you’ll never get the chance to tell them again
