I haven't bought this watch yet but i'm tempted to get it. i'm a pretty big fan of Google and have a few of their things so i kind of want something like this. This is the first watch i've seen with google pay so it's very similar to the apple watch. As for the heart rate, it's more beneficial for a heart monitor going 24/7 rather than randomly checking. This will make sure your heart isn't beating abnormally and can detect changes that you can show your doctor. The fitbit part is the biggest con. that is the biggest set back but im hoping theyll consider some changes to it

I could NEVER wear anything on my arms while sleeping.

I came here as I have 15% code but I already know through experience Google pixel always has one massive oversight, if it's not the battery life it's the reception. After 7 attempts on the phone they still haven't nailed it. But the pixel 7 is probably their best so far.

Has the watch changed in the last 9 months?

I use a Fitbit versa 4 and I charge my watch when I take a shower has a super fast charge so I think is not that Bad

Garmin owners loling at battery issues and heart rate tracking 24/7 needing to be off...

My biggest thing is how long will it last. It's a first gen, so I'm sure it's gonna get better as far as technology and features go. I'm not someone who has to go out and get the new generation each time it comes out. I want to get my money out of the product. That's what I've been impressed about with the Google Pixel phone. It's been a absolute tank of a phone. So I hope the watch is just as durable.

Its probably going to stop working in a few months ! Its the reason why I stopped buying google products ! It is so disappointing , I dont understand how they cant get it right!

Google has all the resources to be a market leader and they continue to disappoint.

Google doesnt even to make two sizes. They can go up one case size with a bigger screen and battery. Itd be a perfect size for both crowds like small or big watches.

Google is going with a much better soc this time around and i hope google allows to stip the heart rate to save battey life.

Pixel watch is awesome only downside is the battery. Just have to get used to charging twice a day.

It's amazing to me watching MKBHD's reviews how he picks off a list of shortcomings very quickly after testing a product. Why doesn't Google just hire him as a consultant to test out crap and tell him everything about it they can improve. Seems like he knows a lot more about real world use cases than Google does

Meh. I could never really get into the watches anyway.

I am looking forward to the next iteration of this device and hope for some improvements that can better tempt me into purchasing. Will hold off for now, as that battery life is an immediate deal-breaker for me.

I've heard it's the best non-Apple watch (all-around) on the entire smartwatch market, and it's exactly what the Pixel Watch SHOULD have been. It would be KILLER to see a review of this product from you!

I hate that you have to pay a subscription to continue using the watch's features, but the rest are insignificant. I just ordered it and mainly because it's the best looking smartwatch. Slick, circular, none of that weird square Apple Watch stuff. A watch should also look great as an accessory and this one does.
