It is so funny to me that when the Nein left the grove and Zadash and stuff they were like "We may not all return, we may not return at all" and then instead of coming back with less people, they came back with two extra people. Their families were expecting a few of them to not return, and instead they gained members lmao.

Thank you so much for a fantastic story Critical Role! I cannot believe that the M9 is complete. I can’t wait for the reunion episodes but I will savor the beautiful resolution to a wonderful story.

Liam is so incredibly powerful at channeling real emotion into his character. Seeing how he was affecting Matt made my chest clench. Incredible

This was the best ending to a campaign I’ve ever watched

Years after airing, and years after tuning in for the first time, I finally finally finally got around to finishing this blessing of a show... and it was more than worth every second of my attention. The highs and lows, the tension and the heartache, the love and the pain, all of it was worth the wait. I am so grateful for this crew of nerds getting together for what started as a silly little hobby, into what it is today. To all of the crew at CR, thank you all for everything that you do, and will continue to do <3 <3 <3

Grew up thinking D&D was such a nerdy and cringey concept, I watched the Vox Machina animation 6 months ago and found out it was a D&D campaign by Critical Role. People told me to watch the 2nd campaign. I’ve binged this since I was told that. Boy the time flew by every day going to work, through the work day, and on the way home. Thank you so much for letting me watch how amazing D&D can be.

And here I am just like, 'Who the fuck y'all look at?!"

Thank you Mighty Nein. I came and went, watched all of Vox Machina and they got me through the darkest of times, and then I returned. The Mighty Nein brought me such joy and laughter in a time I so desperately needed it. Thank you Critical Role. Thank you for being the wonderful group of friends that you are, and for including us all in your stories. You saved me, You saved all of us. Long may you reign.

Probably no one will ever read this, but I must write it anyway...
This cast, these people, this story in particular, has brought me more joy and more feelings than anything else ever could in the shittiest moment of my life, I came across CR through TikTok and in 3 months I've watched 460 hours of these incredible humans, of this story beyond anything I ever watched or read, thank you from the deepest parts of my soul to the Mighty Nein, you taught me that I crave adventure, and that i wanna experience all the love I can, and thank you because yes, we are all flawed and fucked up, but we have the potential to go beyond that, even in this dark, terrible world without magic, you gave me the sense that I can truly live, and I deserve to be here...this has been the most wonderful ride and I hope I can go on many more with you, thank you.

I started ths journey around the end of may of this year
And after weeks of joy, laughter, pain and tears, I have finally come to the (first) conclusion to this story
Thank you to everyone, even if it's 2 years later, for this wonderful story

It even got me into going back to d&d as an amateur DM for a small group of friend, and we are having a lot of fun so far. It won't be on the scale of the M9, it sure will feel like it.

Just finished binge watching the second campaign for the second time, and even though this looong episode feels like the "Return of the King" in that the story never seems to want to end.... I kind of didn't want it to end either. Now I'm off to watch the C2 wrap-up for the fourth time. Bye! :D

It took me a few years to finally get through it, taking long breaks, restarting once or twice, but I finally made it through this campaign.

I have to say i loved this cast of characters and this story much more than Vox Machina - I know that might be an uncommon opinion. I loved campaign one, but I just felt much more connected to this party. Vox machina was such an archetypal group, and they were awesome. Mighty Nein was so unique. But most of all, we followed them from the very beginning of their story, as opposed to Vox Machina where we started several levels into it

The only complaint I have about campaign two, is that it feels incomplete to me? I felt like Matt was seeding Tharizdun being the big bad of the campaign, and culminating at the end. Which would have been so cool. But for me personally it felt like that was quietly hidden away, and then the game shifted to the eyes of nine being the ending. So this ending just sort of feels less grand and epic than Vox Machina’s epic ending. Which is totally fine, but it just felt lackluster to me in a way. The characters were still great. I think that the pandemic might have had a big effect on that? And they decided to wrap things up more quickly, idk. Or it could have been them having to stop ukotoa after it gets released!

But regardless I loved this campaign.

It really allowed everyone in the group to step into different roles and shine in different ways

After seeing Travis playing a more intelligent and charismatic character, he has become one of my favorites on the cast. Fjord was such a cool character, and Matt did such an amazing job at playing with the warlock patron in the way it should be

Jester was SO GOOD, and Laura did such an amazing job creating and playing her

Veth’s story was great. Sam is amazing as always, and loved seeing him be such a great rogue

Liam has been one of my favs since the beginning of campaign 1. In a way he played a very archetypal wizard, but the amazing part of his character came from his personality and Liam doing such a great job making his story have such depth

Ngl I really disliked Beau for a while in the beginning with how she treated Caleb. But eventually their relationship smoothed out and they became better friends, and I started to like her more. She turned into an interesting character

I love Cadeucus! Tal did such a great job making him. Super funny. Didn’t really have that much of a character arch, he’s pretty much the same as he was at the start. Which there’s nothing wrong with! He started out with a level head, a patient and faithful man, who left with the party to defend his home and the world from evil. He finished the job and went back to continue what he was doing. A simple but great story

Yasha was a cool character, but with Ashley gone as long as she was we didn’t get as much of her as we should’ve unfortunately. Ashley is so sweet and funny tho so I can’t complain. My hope for her journey, and what I felt like Matt was strongly setting her up to do, was to respect into a Redemption or Devotion Paladin. Whenever she got the holy avenger and was trying to become a servant of the Storm Lord. Would have been cool if she wanted to draw her strength from protecting her friends instead of relying on her rage anymore. Idk, I thought it would’ve been a better arc for her

Omg I just realized they never went to check on Kiri again ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

Looking forward to starting campaign 3. I loved coming into campaign 2 completely blind and being totally surprised by their characters. Seeing them stepping into fresh characters is so fun

And as always, Matthew Mercer is amazing and an inspiration to me.

What an amazing Story. I was so nervous towards the last ~10 Episodes, thinking they´d TPK. Only thing that kind of bothered me was Yasha´s last encounter - wished she would´ve said something like "I am Yasha, Champion of the Stormlord..." ^^
