I remember when I first played this game and looking at a chainsaw attached to a gun and thought this was one of the most coolest weapons ever and pretty much ended up being obsessed with the game. When someone said this game had one of the best story lines ever in gaming wasn't lying. The first 3 were beyond amazing. Sadly after the 3rd one the games didn't feel the same.

It does make me wonder what would happen if the Locust emerged in our world, as in popping up in major Cities around the globe like London, Washington, Paris, Moscow and such to name a few, how do you think our militaries would fair against the Locust, as in some areas we are more advaced than the cog and others not so much.

Tbh i dont really have a problem with the lore introduced in gears 4 and 5. Hell gears 5 gives us a lot of explanation towards the creation of the locust and why myrrah waged war against humanity

I remember playing Gears of War 2 coming up with theories and stuff. One of my theories was and not to far off. But at the time I believed the locusts or the ancestral Locust was an ancient civilization that was underground and they wanted to combine human DNA was the creatures that live underground to create the next evolution of humanity because the Niles guy was obsessed with godhood. And I believe the queen was that creation. She was the first hybrid. And I thought things will be answered in Gears of War 3 sadly it wasn't but when I start a play was it Gears of War 4 or 5 I don't remember cuz I don't know the games but I played through them once I go back to the facility and I was kind of glad that we get to explore the facility but at the same I felt like I already do the answer and I wasn't surprised but then again I think that's the way Marcus felt too is that he already knew.

We really got 3 iconic video game wars within one decade: Locust War, Covenant War, and Modern Warfare WW3

Even though the Locust were monstrous, they were fighting for survival just as much as humanity.

I think they should do a gears of war comic series like we have all the main games but why not add all the battles in a half our story esch of the comics thrown into a 30min battle of wit

Id love to play as just a Unnamed gear maybe they just have a call sign like in Halo reach were Noble 6 the gear we play as is Male or Female, Callsign is something-4 or idk whatever. With us playing as a Regular gear that's fought in some battles seen in the regular game. Like how we see Alpha 9 in Gears 2. And we could customize our gears armor etc. But they are stuck wearing a helmet or something.

grears 4, 5, and tatctics aren't cannon to me. The whole Locust soldiers are man-made Cop out was just lazy, but okay fine let's say the Locust are man-made that explains all the standard infantry but what about all the giant monsters like the brumak and corpsers. now you have to explain their evolution and biology but no in the gears tactics sroty apparently they're all just made in a test tube which the Cog knew about the whole time so if that's the case why did Chairman Prescott launch an attack on the Hollow when he knew all of them are being made in one of the retired secret facilities and instead he could have just attacked that and done way more damage than sending a bunch of soldiers to die in the hollow. in gears tactics it even shows prescot using the hammer of dawn to percicly kill the cog soldiers who figure it out, when he could have just done that on the secret bases the locust were using. its so lazy and full of plot holes. also if the locust can just come back to life as the swarm why haven't any of the big generals been resurected like raam, scourge, or karn? If you wanted to make your fans happy with this new shitty swarm, you could have least done fan service and brought back some fan favorites enemies. ill stick with the og trilogy. judgment kinda sucked too.

Adam Fenix shouldn't have tried to fix the issue himself. I'm sure if he had help from other scientist they could've came up with a solution to lambency earlier

I really feel like adam fenix should've tried to take animals with him to test the reproductive life cycle of the immulsion.

The only thing not 100% right about this video is that Dom’s testimony dint save Marcus’ life. Prescott was using Marcus as a motivation for Adam Fenix to continue his work on the lightmass bomb while on Azura. This is all covered in the book/ audiobook “the slab” I highly recommend it to those interested in how Marcus got his scar, and the war crime Marcus was accused of.

These games scared the shit out of me when I was younger dude. Skurge? Skorge? That dude. Ram? I believe and the huge juggernaut guys that are blind or whatever, when you go into that building and hear it then one of the grunts is like “hell no! Im outta here” runs around the corner and proceeds to be mauled. Using the hammer of dawn i believe it was called to absolutely murk them. I just made myself want to replay them all.

There is a 79 years war to cover from the pendulum wars and also 17 years of war against the locust.

Not to mention the war against the Lambent between them and Locust and the franchise just decided to create a new lore instead telling stories but uncompelling characters in Gears 4 and 5.
