What advice would you guys give to new players coming into tekken 8?
ОтветитьI'm new to the tekken series and I chose hwoarang and reina as my characters, especially reina, I realize she's very complex but I just don't like the other characters. Went to online matches today for the first time in 15 hours - I was just destroyed, it seemed like I watched a bunch of character guides, a bunch of guides on fundamental mechanics, tried to apply it within the game and it just didn't work, panishes that worked with bots didn't work at all against humans, I was very frustrated that I only won 3 matches all day because I don't understand why I'm losing, how do you start to understand why you're losing?
ОтветитьWhoever did this thumbnail is goated
ОтветитьWhen I lose at I find it funny, so yeh that I do agree with.
ОтветитьGame is super fun, I get super heated though when I know how to deal with spam like dragon tails, lows, jabs, king and general throws, but still keep messin' up.
ОтветитьI also found it useful to go to arcade quest and it'll show you combos and moves to practice. They also have a rank system on arcade quest making it harder as you go higher up. The further you go up the more it'll show you. They also allow you to fight a ton of ghosts based on who you already fought online or in game ghosts from the game creators. You also gain a lot of customizations unlocked from doing so.
ОтветитьI’m new to the game and picked azucena , got warrior and learning , did I choose a harder one ?
Ответить"How to learn and improve" "go look up other videos than this one"
ОтветитьTekken 8 will be my first ever tekken, I can’t wait !!
ОтветитьExcellent video mate, I've only played sf6 and mk1 so gonna be interesting g o learn tekken, maybe that could be a good idea for a video??? Thanks.
ОтветитьI want reina.
ОтветитьOkay. Okay. You earned a sub from me. I was in the competitive SoCal Tekken scene back in 1998, and dropped out after the disaster known as Tekken 4, picking up and playing VF for the next few decades instead. I'm ready to come home, and your videos have made my hype grow beyond measure.
Ответить1. Tip for beginners play with friends and learn moves while playing and enjoy the game :) After that look guides when you have more interest in the game like all other tekken fans :)
ОтветитьSo as someone who usually only does anime arena fighters, and smash bros. As well as only goes against the cpu since I'm an offline gamer, would you recommend this one? It looks so good but I'm just afraid I'll be bad at it. Is there a good amount of offline content for single players? Also the special controls can you turn that on from the main menu before a fight?
ОтветитьYou included subtitles lol nice
ОтветитьBeen brawler for 10years 😭
ОтветитьReally well made video.
ОтветитьYou're the only Canadian I like. <3
ОтветитьGet a therapist because you'll need one after trying to learn it. Most of the characters are annoying to learn
Ответитьid love to see you do a devil jin guide
ОтветитьFocusing on not mashing and strictly blocking and punishing is a really good tip. Jab string punish small moves, launch big moves.
ОтветитьYour videos have been an amazing help. Especially as a smasher looking to get into tekken
ОтветитьThe most think i struggel with is learning matchups
Where to start, for what to look out, etc...
Sure there are anti character guides, but until now i could not find a video that goes in it like a system
So more something like, go trough this points step by step to learn a matchup and system can then be used for every character
Play ranked, but don't worry about the rank.
ОтветитьThe problem with Tekken is that I must spend another 300 to get a leverless because the damn D-Pad is giving me an aneurysm.
ОтветитьYou are my go-to for general beginner and intermediate help for tekken thank you for ur content!
ОтветитьI’m new and I wanna main Reina even doh it may be difficult 😅
ОтветитьIf anyone new sees this DONT SPEND A LOT OF TIME IN TRAINING MODE FIRST. Learn a thing or 2, play some matches repeat. I did this for Tekken 7 and it worked wonders. You can know how to do a combo, but it's useless if you cant play neutral.
ОтветитьCurious, will Tekken 8 and the series be your main focus on your channel or are you planning to branch out eventually?
I'm here to stay either way
Excited to jump in, been wanting to get into Tekken for a long time and your vids have helped alot❤. Im going to remember these things and go at my own pace and take my time
ОтветитьAlso, dont get worked out on combos and remember to have fun
ОтветитьCant wait to improve in tekken 8! Thank you BoogardMG!
ОтветитьThis man mentioned Red Ranger in his video 😂😂😂
ОтветитьTaking breaks from play sessions help too. It is easy to get tilted in a competitive game, especially Tekken. That can negatively impact your gameplay so taking breaks here or there to recharge yourself helps a lot.
ОтветитьThanks for all your guides on this game so far, man. The character guides, and even the guides on just the basic gameplay and movement have all been very helpful and informative. I’ve been playing fighting games like Mortal Kombat, street fighter, and soul Calibur my entire life, but Tekken eight is the first Tekken that I actually want to get really good at. So I’ve been checking out a lot of these beginners guides. It’s definitely been a challenge to work on improving the basics and learning different characters for me, mainly because I struggle with memorizing a bunch of different moves and learning when exactly to use them. I’m also completely blind, which probably makes things slightly more difficult. Lol. Fortunately, the sound design in tekken is pretty good, and all of the different characters attacks seems to have unique sound cues, which is definitely helpful for me. Anyways, I’m getting off topic. I’ll end this ridiculously long comment by saying thanks again, and I will definitely check out your future guides on Tekken eight.
ОтветитьWell made video keep it up
ОтветитьI want to learn Tekken 8 for a 3D fighting game, I want to play because I haven't played a 3D funny game in a long time.
ОтветитьWish there were tournaments near me
