ОтветитьMan this disease is nothing to fool around with i just got recently diagnosed and I will be glad the CPAP machine finally comes they say it can take up to two weeks to get it
ОтветитьI heard that vit B1 deficency is a cause of sleep apnea! Did anyone know this?
ОтветитьI wanted to mention too that sleeping flat makes it worse for me. If I sleep with two or three pillows, it improves.
Ответитьthank you for this video
ОтветитьDo you have any information about central sleep apnea protocol?
ОтветитьI swear I thought bro on the thumbnail was Christopher Moltisante
ОтветитьLosing weight helps, but there are soooo many other risks factors. Depending on what the patient's risk profile looks like, weight loss may not do anything.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video
ОтветитьI need something tht is cordless cause the CPAP is very uncomfortable for me so if someone can help me plz respond back I have Medicaid insurance
ОтветитьThanks for this very informative video! I will look at the next one as well
ОтветитьThis explains lots of things, a very clear and educational video. Cheers.
ОтветитьSir why sleep apnea causes bradyarrythmia??? I'm not understanding it or not getting the answer anywhere.
ОтветитьExcellent explanation.
ОтветитьFor sleep events in an hour? My insurance cut off point is 20 an hour when I was tested I had 24 one of them included holding my breath for 3 minutes and 35 seconds yikes I do use the machine now though not as often as I should I am trying my best I feel one day it might kill me otherwise if I don't get a handle on this it is causing increase in my red blood cells so my blood now loosing my body and a thicker manner trying to compensate for the fact that I keep holding my breath
ОтветитьHelpful I just wish you would not suggest it is fat related. My snoring and apnea began in my teens and I was skinny. Don’t stereotype.
Ответить5'6, 100 pound woman and I have severe sleep apnea -85/hrs. I'm waiting for a consult about jaw surgery as cpap forces into my stomach/intestines and it's awful
ОтветитьSo, I don't know if I have sleep apena however, very often either I am dreaming or literally experiencing it, that I am suffocating and can't breathe. Many times I wake up normal but afraid to go back to sleep.
ОтветитьAge 50-60 and stops, lol...like everything, lol. Have my CPAP equipment for a year and huge difference now in deep sleep and less day time fatigue. Who would have thought?
ОтветитьIf you push on the med cam icon it will carry you to all his videos.
ОтветитьHey I'm having severe memory issues im only 30 like I can't remember what I did the day before and I have sleep apnea I'm getting my machine soon is it to late to save my memory am I doing this all for nothing it's mild sleep apnea
ОтветитьWhere is the second part?
Ответитьi wake up feeling like im drowning, cant move, relaxing around the house,my head will bob then im snoring within 3 to 5 min
ОтветитьFor me it like this....when I want to go to sleep...the first minutes it happen..but when I actually sleep...I never wake...but the first 30 minutes to go to sleep..it always wake me up until I'm tired myself..is that sleep apnea too??
Ответитьhow about snoring while sitting up? thanks.
ОтветитьI'm watching as my husband sleeps. Its like your video coming to life. Thank you for clarifying.
ОтветитьSuper helpful stuff. Thanks so much for sharing!
Ответитьwhite is always ;less at risk for everything
ОтветитьThen why do apneas occur when someone is NOT supine? This video only demonstrates the theoat in supine position. It wouldnt close like that if the person was on their side.
ОтветитьGreat explanation !!
Abs visual drawing
I know that this is an old video, but I have to comment. I recently did a home sleep study, and was diagnosed with severe apnea. Then went to the VA hospital to sleep over night so they could set me up with a machine. Thanks so much for this video. Not one person from the VA have even attempted to explain what I have, or why this is the right treatment for me. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe when I go back to get the machine, they'll explain everything to me. Also while trying to fall asleep, I'll suddenly jolt feeling like I stopped breathing, hope the machine helps with this.
ОтветитьIsn't alcohol and eating a lot of carbohydrates near bedtime are also risk factors?
Ответитьcan u do a video on UARS? I know it's controversial, with some seeing it as a continuum from UARS to OSA, and some state it's different and the patient's present differently.
ОтветитьWho's here because of Jo Koy's story about sleep apnea? 😁
ОтветитьI'm doing a presentation on sleeping apnea March 22
ОтветитьThanks for this video. At least now i know my condition. Feeling so scared even to go to bed now.
Ответитьi did a sleep study finally last month, i was told i had 122 apneas in one hour. i recieved a phillips dreamstation 2 w/ a nasal mask, nasal pillow mask and the full face mask in case i am stuffy and cant use the nasal one. it has a humidifier which i love and the heated tubing. i find it very comfortable to use, much more than what people said on reddit when i joined that subreddit. i will say if you wake up during the night to it at a 20 from the ramp gradually going up to what you need, holy smokes, thats like sticking your head out of a car window going 100 down a freeway. the face mask makes my cheeks blow back thats how strong the air is, its insane. i am overweight, i had to have the sleep study done to get approval for my gastric bypass in july. so i have a pulmonologist now, and when i was diagnosed, so many things make sense now. i fall asleep sitting up, in movie theatres, i have dozed off for a second driving once. i wake up with a headache almost everyday of my freaking life. i am always tired, miserable, foggy. Since having the cpap machine, i feel like an entirely different person. If you think you have apnea, or suspect even a tiny bit, get the study, if you need a cpap, don't dick around, DO IT. it will change your life.
ОтветитьJust been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea having 38 a night fking hate the cpap not had a decent night sleep with. It
ОтветитьWhere does he talk about treatments?
ОтветитьWhat about a deviated septum ?
ОтветитьI Came Here After Singer Bappi Lehri's Death Due To This Disease
ОтветитьJust now Bappi Lahiri famous music composer, singer in Bollywood , died due to this obstructive sleep apnea..
Rip 🙏
I've been experiencing this issue for a long time I don't really know what it was until I came across your video, yesterday it was so severe that I have to sit up for an hour during the night , I thought because I eat late at night which I did last night it's the reason for it . Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьI've been having sleep paralysis for about 20 years now, it feels like I'm dying, even if i woke up i feel so sleepy that i would go right back to sleep so i have to try so hard to stay awake and have to sit and sometimes walk around to make myself awake
ОтветитьThank you for this, but where might I find the second video on diagnosis and treatment?
ОтветитьThis just happened to me right now lol
