great advice. I am female and think most men need to improve their profiles. Some men also look so much better in life than their profile pics and description shows.
People need to insist on video chat before meeting, but also before wasting much time exchanging photo or talk. If a person's way of talking or what he/she says or maybe their facial expressions (or whatever) are a huge turn-off, it's easy to see in a video and you save yourself a huge amount of time. Also, it seems some men are using photos taken days or weeks ago and making you think the photos were taken seconds ago. The same men are asking for sexy photos and god only knows what they are doing with those photos - who they are sharing them with.

I changed my first photo yesterday and the matches increased instantly, but I'm here for the rest of my profile makeover 😅.

I have never had much luck with dating apps despite get professional photographs taken and having my female friends help build my profile. Dating apps are just not made for some people

Back in fall 2021, I was banned from Hinge. After less than two weeks. And the sad part is, I liked the app and was getting matches so much quicker than I ever have on Tinder, with good conversations, but because of the ban... none of them turned up any dates. And when I looked at the app reviews, I found at least three other people who said they had the same thing happen.
