I heard Dallas and ran to the subscribe button lol
ОтветитьI’m a software sec engineer at a smaller company and the exposure to technologies has been exciting. Your perspective makes me appreciate my current job. ❤
ОтветитьYour a better man than me. Was it because of burnout? I know because of your experience you can demand and negotiate whatever you want salary wise and remote hybrid options. Can’t wait to get into an internship and graduate college I’m excited
ОтветитьI have two questions on the subject: 1- In 10 years, can AIs replace or take over many vacancies in cybersecurity? 2- Do you think doing comptia+, NDE, DFE, cloud+ would already be enough certifications to enter the market as a junior? what salary to expect?
ОтветитьRespect your reasoning for leaving, Im just now starting my career in cyber security so its mind blowing to me when I see people mention leaving 6 figure paying roles.
ОтветитьEnjoyed this video. This spoke to me. I’m currently in healthcare and it’s mentally draining. I’ve been shadowing with the IT team as of recent since I want to transition into tech. I have my security+ and I recently finished Josh Madakor’s IT course. Just trying to brush up on labs right now but I feel lost at times and my current job drains me and there’s no room to grow. I’ve been enjoying your content though 👍🏿
ОтветитьTaking notes from you brother! Good luck on your journey 💪🏿
ОтветитьFor this type of job what would you say is the cert path to get that job? It also sounds like some Data Analysis mixed in but did you have people that reported to you?
ОтветитьWTF, bro. People would love that 100k job. I'm trying to land a entry level job so I can make that big bucks.
ОтветитьYour LinkedIn profile link?
ОтветитьI understand. Sometimes when I quit a high paying job, the first thing people would ask me "damn why would you quit this high paying job? Look at all the money you making" but they don't realize that it's not all about the money. Maybe I quit because of terrible management or colleagues or toxic work culture or simply I just need a break. Once you have the experience, you can always have another great paying job. Great video and good luck g 👍🏾
ОтветитьMost cyber jobs are all about policy
ОтветитьI need to see the pay stub.
ОтветитьWith these Cyber Security jobs after a certain amount is it like a contract with severance package. Or just salary.
ОтветитьI completely understand. I started my first helpdesk role last year and quit after a few months because I hated the environment. Good luck on your next role.
ОтветитьThis is what I call Black Excellence
ОтветитьCybersecurity is a freaking headache. I respect you wanting to learn more but most professional roles are not gonna hold your hand. Its up to you to pickup and learn the material. To be honest, if they want to pay me a high salary and under utilize my skills, I'll be glad to pick up 6 figures to fiddle my thumbs. Just my opinion.
ОтветитьGot a new subscriber. Keep grinding brother. 🙋🏾♂️
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this.
On another note, I'd like to hear your thoughts (maybe a vid or short) on Amazon and some bigger tech companies requiring employees to work on site for 3 days. Do you think this will have an impact on the tech industry as a whole? And why is the tech field pushing employees back to the office for roles that can be performed remotely?
Thanks for sharing this experience with us HD. Hope your next role is more fulfilling and you are doing what you love.
