1) All coners of your crown molding look terrible. When cutting painted trim, you have to make sure that your blade is sharp enough...
2) When installing crown moldings that are not touching the ceiling, you create an open space above cabinets that is just a dust collector.
Thank you
ОтветитьWhat would someone charge for a job like this?
ОтветитьWhat ever degree you want. subtract it from 90 , and you get the degree you need to cut. For an example: if you want a part to ,go in a 32 degrees subtract 32 from 90 equals 58 , so then cut two pcs at 58 degrees and put them together. And now you got 32 degree part. Awesome technique with those crowns 👍
ОтветитьI love this dude. He is a new nation builder and he is sharp 🪒. Let's go. He said binocular bubs!
ОтветитьCrown not against ceiling lmao
ОтветитьFU&@/“: AWESOME !!
That looked beautiful happy carpenters make good carpenters
Really like that I’ve never done crown but I like this idea. My day is coming real soon keep the videos coming.
ОтветитьI like that P2 10 or whatever
ОтветитьSuper awesome tip! That's so good. Going to use that method from now on. Keep up the great job guys!
ОтветитьLooks great, I would cover the gap on top of cabinets!
ОтветитьHow do you calculate length for inside corners (with 3/16 overlay) and then the next corner is outside-both 90 degrees?
ОтветитьCan I ask why you didn’t just go with a longer crown molding, so it would reach the ceiling? And not have a gap for dust to collect? Honest question, if there’s a reason other than not finding a good crown molding for the height needed.
ОтветитьPerfect for my application. Thank you!
ОтветитьAwesome, thank you, I’m learning so much!!!
ОтветитьFor the life of me I cannot recall the terminology that describes it but I replaced some crown in a modular home made in Canada as well as added some on cabinets that hadn't previously had any. The crown was rabbeted on the bottom so that it actually sat on top of the upper frame. No measuring and marking the face frame to get an even reveal. However, you did have to add some small blocking on top of the cabinets but it was super simple.
ОтветитьLove this. I'm definitely painting first.
ОтветитьWhat’s the website angle calculator again?
ОтветитьGreat video, thank you!
ОтветитьThank you, thank you! I used this method on my last kitchen, absolutely wonderful. Crown molding was always difficult for me this method is so much easier and better and looks wonderful!
ОтветитьThanks guys great video
ОтветитьHonest to god. U have got to get away from imperial measures. 3/16ths? And then trying to have a discussion around the 16ths of an inch?. Millimeters would be so much easier to understand and use for anyone not in construction.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьVery long instrucción and very small project jajaja
ОтветитьThat looks really stupid. Why would anybody put crown moulding over cabinets that don't match the ceiling crown? The proper way to do this would be to put a filler over the cabinets and then match the crown at the ceiling. The way you did it creates an uncleanable dust trap over the cabinets. It makes no sese at all and looks ridiculous.
ОтветитьIts best if painted before install
ОтветитьWhy not build it all the way to the ceiling?
ОтветитьThank You…!!!
ОтветитьThank you so much! As a beginner I really appreciate the step by step.
ОтветитьMan, I’m completely stupid. I almost bypassed this video because I thought it was a basic video on crown molding, but I literally just took my project to the next level. Thank you, gentlemen.
ОтветитьWow, would love to have him as a teacher he explains it so simply
ОтветитьA few questions. How do you get the crown to match the cabinets? From what I'm seeing the crown is a different white, I believe you said they are only primed. Also, did you paint the nailers, or do they come painted? Also, how do you clean up the corners since you can see the roughed-up pieces on the corners.
Ответитьgap between the crown and the ceiling is a NO NO .
ОтветитьI have always enjoyed the show...but in the past several months the word SICK is the most over used word ever...please...and go back to the music from the past....hard rock type music doesnt work...thx
ОтветитьWow! I wish I had this tutorial years ago! Paul you sure help simplify putting up crown molding. Considering how expensive it is, your tutorials are golden & money savers!!
ОтветитьBEAUTIFUL!!
ОтветитьVery nice and also gives you the option of making it even more sturdy with the addition of the other blocks. Love it
Ответитьyou guys are good
Ответитьleaving a gap at top will attract dust thats hard to get to and clean. I like your idea of attaching filler to crown first.
ОтветитьBROOOOOOO BUY A NEW SAW BLADE WTF WOWWWWWW
ОтветитьThank you for a simple and effective method! You're the best.
ОтветитьThis video is perfection. THANK YOU FOR THE TIPS!
ОтветитьWicked video and great job!! Super helpful and beginner friendly - easy way to install crown molding. Watch this video.
ОтветитьGood video thanks. I live in the UK, and still use feet and inches to measure a person's height etc. But you'd find it a lot easier using Centimetres and Millimetres when measuring for joinery.
Ответитьvery good video
ОтветитьGreat video! I was struggling with a solution for my new cabinets which previously had a sheet rock soffit.
ОтветитьAbsolutely great video, I have watched it so many times and each time I gain more confidence as I prepare myself to install my crown molding, Stud Pack, you are the BEST
ОтветитьOh my god you guys doing excellent job,I love you video,I watching from Guatemala 🇬🇹 god bless America.
ОтветитьGood job on the crown molding. I don't care for the faceless, IKEA type cabinets, it screams cheap.
