This was always on the Dansette turntable whenever the gang gathered when l was in my teens

One of the raunchiest (dirtiest) records ever made and Duane Eddy was completely overshadowed by the sax player whoever he was.

We say Duane Eddy but the un named sax player is the real star making this still amazing well over sixty years later.

One of first records I bought on that new-fangled 45 rpm records that all my pals wanted just to look at! Still love to this day, Duane Eddy was best there was!! As was Steve Douglas on saxophone!!

I was 6 years old in 1982 when my Oldman brought home an electric guitar he'd pulled out of a dumpster, didn't have an Amp or anything, but the Oldman taught me this song. Still an awesome song to be the 1st song I learnt 😊😊

the orange one on the right looks similar to mine but sadly,after I bought it,I noticed on the neck it said,"assembled in China"...can u believe that?...it's still a Gretsch but do they really have to outsource assembly to China...of all places?

Have seen him.playing it live. Ok its simple but the feel and the sound together when is like a jam Session in the middle part and the sax player goes up wild just plain awesome! Duane Eddy and the sax player for President. Oh yes! Classic peace of history in music.
