If I played Season 4 I would have gone fire trapper, however with D4 only being 3 weeks away I decided to work on NL characters over investing in a new ladder. I use Fire Trapper to clear through to Normal Cows before swapping to light for my standard Sin run, so this change just gives me more reason to delay swapping. I haven't taken it through NM chaos, but I still think swapping to Light to finish the game (without a carry) will be the best play as you will be multi-element with Light traps and DS/Fire blast by the time you are pushing into Hell; especially since you will be re-specing endgame anyway.

Most people dont have enigma but I think Trechery would be a good armor for this build for the 2 to skills

i have my fire trap assasin with 2 phoenix + infinity and this is very good. only thing with phoenix is your death sentry is way less effective. So now i try blade + fire trap and this is very nice too.

Fire trapper was my starter. SUPER underwhelming in hell until I got infinity + sunder and even then the dmg wasn't great until 6 facet pb + phoenix, but now that I'm basically max gear I absolutely love it

Now that his is here I get to ask: Lightning or Fire? I’m just starting out and so far only have a lightning sunder so wondering which you think is better to build towards. Even with the sunder starting out lightning in hell definitely is a bit rough - so many immune!

I've found traps to be pretty underwhelming at max gear, even with the 2.7 changes.
I guess Mosaic has ruined me.

Why the crystal sword has 6 sockets? I thought only phase blade has 6 sockets.

Why not using phase blade? Its faster than crystal sword. Or did you want to save the points in dex?

why not going with some magic claws and get + skills and maby 2 facets each?
weapon block provide alot of defence (me HC) i love the skill function of wake of fire

Ganna follow this build. I have every apart from the weapon. What alternative should I use? I don't have the claws. Got hoto etc.
