I was so scared the first time I felt conscious of myself, I was around 8 and woke suddenly from sleep during the night, I felt strange like I was suffering from some type of amnesia, I knew I was in a familiar environment but I had to remind myself what my name was and who I was in relation to everyone else, then I looked at my brothers it took me a little while to remember who they were to me, same went with my mother and father. In the beginning I couldn’t remember my mothers name and I felt so scared and out of place, I knew her face but not her name. I felt so confined and restricted in my space and wondered what I was doing here, after about an hour I somewhat made sense of things and tried to go back to sleep. It was a scary experience, one I’ll never forget

Thanks for this interview with the pioneer of analytical psychology.....Carl Jung wat not anti-semite he only dived into the mentality of zionists as an analytical psychiatrist...... Very impressive to see a person at 84 and his thoughts flow as a pure river....the following quote for Carl Jung does match what prophet Muhammad of Islam once said :

-( The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.)

11 years to self consciousness?! How individuality cult we are today! That at 3 we are all "this is me" "this is how and who i am", etc.

I just watched this on the BBC iPlayer since I’m in Scotland at the moment. It is perhaps the single most interesting interview I have ever watched. So many moments I wanted to say oh no wait! Please let’s explore that more, it could have gone for many more hours. I will watch it again there are so very many pearls of wisdom to stop and reflect. And I live close to his home in Zürich which is now (partially) open to the public. I loved when he said his grandchildren steal his hat what a wonderful human being 😊

Do you remember what were the significant features of Freud's dreams? 'it's rather indiscrete to ask'...'these regards last longer than life'...'I prefer not to talk about it' I gather Jung didn't care to share Freud's homosexual dream fantasies.

Jung Codex...Hog wash....him and a gm handful of scholars that had the balls to copywritte a diacovery by someone else make me sick. Fuck him...Right where his thieving ass atands.

The most common way that I see contemporary man dealing with a truly meaningless life-a life of compulsive and mindless consumption, a life of permanent servility to a powerful and coercive State and economic system--is by immersion in endless distractions rather than facing themselves.
