These lame reasonings are nothing but an actual reason for expanded market and profit for the products of western colonials.

Frankly speaking, the vibes of HK feel very similar to Singapore, another British colony where the Chinese make up the majority of the population. Although I’ve been to HK once as a child, didn’t exactly remember seeing modern buildings or a metropolis of some sort, besides from living in a hotel with a great view of the sea.

On another note, I’m a Chinese Indonesian who has a taste for Western and Eastern cuisine, the latter includes the local Indonesian as well as Chinese. It’s amazing that despite having seemingly different cultures, I enjoy both as I grew up with both cultures.
