How would you suggest we populate the IRS EIN request for the parent holding LLC of your children LLCs if they are different companies (e.g. Consulting, Real Estate, Landscaping, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.)?
Unless I missed it I didn't see an option for "holding" in the application.

This is a good video. I wish I had seen this a few weeks ago. I’ll leave the story of what happened to me for anyone who might need to hear this.
I applied for one online on a website that intentionally looked like the IRS site. It even had IRS in the url. I filled out everything, then at the end they went to the “checkout”. I thought that was normal, even though I did have reservations. I authorized the fee, but I called my father immediately and asked what he knew, and he told me that it should’ve been free. I contacted the website and requested to cancel. They told me I could only cancel if a number had not been assigned yet. Fortunately, I was able to cancel before the charge went through. Be careful, these scammers are shameless.

Haha I did this on line and didn't even know that people were charging. I thought you had to do it yourself. Saved money just being ignorant!
