ОтветитьThank you for this video. It helped me to build confidence and to express my thoughts.
ОтветитьThanks so much for this video. It's helpful. I have had a hard time being assertive and have boundaries in a classy way. Here are my attempts:
Situation 1
Hi John, I need to discuss with you about work. I've recently been assigned to do a project. So that will be my priority. I won't be able to stay back to help you out with your work anymore. But if you really get stuck and need help, don't hesitate to email me and I will have a look on my schedule to see when I can go through the work with you.
Situation 2
Hi Claire, I need my book back when I can I pick it up?
iam learning how to speaking.
Ответить1. It is time for you to take up work on your own, as I need to focus on mine.
2. I need to read the book to improve my communication, when will you return?

ОтветитьI see that we have been spending a lot of hours on this project and we’ve reached to good results now it’s time to stop and to be focusing on my children’s study at home.
ОтветитьMy practice: 1. Hi Mark, I think there is a time that you are able to work on your own success. And I have to come back to my projects. I am sure that you manage:).
2. Hi Lisa, what about my book? Have you liked it? I need to read it again, please give me it back in two days.
😀
Thank you so much for this video.
ОтветитьI would feel somewhat offended by some of these direct statements. I'd say use Situational Leadership where the language and way of behaving are different from person to person, depending on what that person needs. I always immediately do what I am asked and appreciate it when someone is polite. But some people might not do that, so they need more direct and firm instructions. So I'd say to use these depending on who you are communicating with as some might take it bad. It would kill my motivation and I would actually ask my manager why he/she treats me like I'm a kid. I am also a Swede, which could perhaps be cultural differences even though Situational Leadership is amazing.
