Damn this is gold! The title does not lie! I now know how to master line weights and printing colors! I'll be checking out model v paper spaces v viewports next.
ОтветитьHi, dear,
I have a very complex drawing with a hundred layers that I don't know its name, can we make layer groups from a used layer in the current drawing by selection? thanks forever
In your other videos
I like the topic
_Layer state in viewports
_ xref layering
_matching by layers instead of properties which is top notch.
_UCS topic also was very well explain.
_ xref attachment scale also was good
_xref relative path over full path
_ line weight overwrite/global width
_layer groups
_viewport freezing layers.
_viewport object ,or polygonal
_layer settings "xref payer settings" which is tricky. And good well explained
Everything was very easy to understand.
Looking forward for more tutorial especially on command that is unfamiliar for some cad user.
💯🤝
Very good tutorial.
Fast pace explanation that make viewers focus on listening and the topic explained perfectly 💯
please how did you reach for the global width of the line??
ОтветитьYour explanation is amazing! I really appreciate how you took the time to break it down in a way that's easy to understand. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

thanks sir I like your video so much <3
ОтветитьI love it, very dense information. Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьGreat video, is there an easy way to import a whole layer listing from another drawing?
ОтветитьThe info is good, but the speed of your instructions need to be slowed down. Hard to follow because you speak to fast.
ОтветитьThank you. This helps tremendously.
Ответитьhi there. Very informative. I have a question for you.
We you solid hatch, i now that you can change the shade density when viewing it on the screen, but how do you transfer that to look the same when you plot the drawing?
Thank you

ОтветитьThank you, as Chief Architect is my primary software this was a helpful tutorial for me to use as a crossover.
ОтветитьBeen doing CAD a long time. STILL found things I didn't know in this. Great video. Thanks. Toggle Override Highlight. "Turns on or off the background highlighting for layer property overrides. By default, the background highlighting is turned off. Settings. Displays the Layer Settings dialog box, where you can set various display options." (per AutoDesk). Good luck with that. Ha! Have never used that either...I just go to the layer settings directly. Thanks again!
Ответитьthank you very useful
ОтветитьVery thorough, I'll be watching it again, you/re speaking very quickly. New to CAD, working with Land F/X a LA. My biggest struggle lately is the management of layers. Saving your video.
Ответитьjust finished watching your tutorial and its very useful! thank you very much!
ОтветитьI’m impressed of your clear explanation
ОтветитьYou are amazing I’m happy I found you
ОтветитьPlease do a video how to put objects in property layers.this is also very helpful but I want detail tutorials pls
ОтветитьI am having trouble seeing my layer properties manager. I have a mac and when I type layers, i dont see my properties manager, i only see the layers + properties tabs and cannot add or delete layers. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP
ОтветитьThank you, i'm coming back to this chanel! Also great voice to explain, calm and clear. Best of luck!
ОтветитьThank you, helped me a LOT !👌🏼
ОтветитьI have just started using autocadd ,
Whats that words "CTS" before Layers name ?
Thanks for the video. Do you know if there is any way to give to a layer a specific draw order in the drawing? Example. I would like that some layers with hatches would always be in the back wile other layers with furniture would always be in the front. Tx
Ответитьbest
ОтветитьIt was all informative all the way and right to the point. This guy is Not a waste of time.
Ответитьi was going to a job like this with a complex drawing exactly like yours , somewhere was some control point , and i did-nnt know how to tell autocad ( show me only control points ) was 5 points from nails , cu global coordinates
Ответитьthanks a lot sir, a great deed for me during cad lesson.
ОтветитьThank you❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьAmazing!...it was too deep sir.. thanks for imparting knowledge sir...
