Nautical 10’6 SUP Board Review 2022

I bought one of these as a “backup” board for friends to use and I low-key fell in love with it. It’s pretty much my go-to paddler now given how light it is to carry and how comfortable it is. Speed and tracking are top notch for an ISUP.

Hello I noticed your review is on a lake. Do you think this will fare well on the ocean with small waves? I’m a beginner

I find it interesting that no one talks about getting back on the board if you fall off. Being a beginner SUP rider I have fallen off numerous times and have found the 6” thick board difficult to get on. My husband ended up making me a stirrup to assist with getting back on.

Fabulous day with my new nautical paddle board!

I recently bought a nautical 10’6 as a backup, and found the tracking to be quite turny. Maybe it’s my technique, but I have to switch sides when paddling about every 3 strokes. Tried my friend’s BlueFin Cruise and didn’t have the same “problem”. What could be causing this on the 10’6 Nautical? Is the board just too short for me? I’m 5’9, btw.

They're also including a free electric pump with each order in Canada (as of September 7, 2022). I bought 2 boards and placed 2 orders so I would get one electric pump per board. So excited to try them out! We got the 10' 6" boards because the 11' 6" boards were out of stock.

Thank you for this review. I found your presentation serious, knowledgeable, and helpful. I've been looking for an inflatable paddleboard for a little while and this one has come up several times. My question is: what does the Nautical lack compared to a "non-beginner" board? Obviously a competitive user has specific needs and products tailored to those needs but in what ways might a seasoned casual paddler find the Nautical boards lacking? Or put another way: what features would a seasoned casual paddler desire that wouldn't be found in the Nautical line? Thanks for the video!
