Let me know what kind of job you’re interested in tech or if you’re there already, what kind of role you’re in 😌
ОтветитьHow do you go about getting into something like this? I am currently a speech therapist and looking to transition
Ответитьso glad i found this video. Its the first video i found as I'm considering a potential career switch into the space. Love the brief breakdown of the types of roles!
ОтветитьI understand your passion for L&D, but you need to pause and not talk non-stop.
Let it breathe
Lets take more about L&D
ОтветитьGreat video thank you.
ОтветитьI'm in Vancouver at the moment, recently finished a bachelor in businesses and no experience in L&D here but I have from my former country. Any advice?
ОтветитьThanks for your words. Congrats on your content!
ОтветитьHi Sakura! I found this video so helpful. I'm considering a pivot into L&D and I am so appreciative at how you broke down the different types of roles within L&D. I didn't know it then but I was doing L&D work at nonprofits I worked at in the past. I am utilizing a lot of my writing skills in my current work but I miss the people aspect! Once I do more field research, I can see myself looking for roles in smaller companies in and outside of tech, because as you put it, I might feel limited in a role where I'm only doing training coordination. Can't wait to review your other videos!
ОтветитьWow this is soo good! I’ve been in the L&D space for years on the compliance side and I don’t think I could have said it best!
ОтветитьYOU ARE STUNNING ... Great video- thank you so much!
ОтветитьHi there! Thank you so much for making this video. It's super helpful! If I'm interested in a Program Manager role within L&D, what job titles should I be searching for so that I'm not ending up with results outside of the L&D space?
ОтветитьGreat Video!
I been an instructor for a long time and am considering transitioning into L&D. I been considering Instructional Design but there seems to be a big learning curve to learning all the necessary tools. I live in the SF Bay Area, CA. I have been looking into L&D roles here for quite sometime and it seems they are saturated with applicants or there are too many requirements. I have some tech skills where I got familiar with the Articulate ecosystem of apps, like Storyline and 360, Vyond, etc. but am not an expert. Also, as an instructor I have a lot of transferrable skills. Perhaps you can give me some input on what industries I can consider seeking these roles and also what areas I can consider in L&D in addition to what you mentioned in this video? Thanks.
I sometimes really dream about working in tech, I feel like there are so many different opportunities and some of the organisations are just huge, so it feels like the overall impact on the industry and the market can be great😀
ОтветитьThis was a great insight into L&D. I'm a high school teacher who is looking to pursue a career in L&D.
ОтветитьIt would have been hilarious if at the very end of the video, you said, "I lied. L&D means training. I train people." 🤣
