ОтветитьWhere did you buy tbe boat from ?
ОтветитьOne of your vids popped on my home page. I do watch other boating vids for some reason, not sure why. This is great content.
Ответитьnicest bum on the planet!
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьGreat to find a new sailing channel as I am boarding a 4.5 hour flight in the morning. Hopefully start to catch up with you. Don't listen t naysayers. I have a sense that you will do it correctly. A few more videos will tell. Cheers
Ответитьwhat model of ketch is?
ОтветитьI've been online browsing the boat's available for months as I wait for everything to align to do similar. I have 9 weeks off starting now and if I find "The One" I won't be going home or back to work.. it's getting exciting. Great share! Your excitement and emotions were felt. Look forward to following along.
ОтветитьGreat story. Well done. Just shows that you can do anything in life if you work hard enough and never give up.
But I'm confused: did you buy the same boat that you first saw in March 2021? If so, it looks like it took almost a year for the owner to decide to sell it to you? That's a very long time to take a decision.
@TeulaTribe Awesome job !
Dang 😭
Thanks for sharing and the inspiration !
( brilliant editing wowww ).
🙏
Congratulations and best wishes and dreams to you both.
ОтветитьAwesome videos and an awesome channel.
I just had to subscribe your videos reminded me of the time I lived on a yacht in Spain between 1992 and 1995 best time of my life (Probably because it got me out of going to school for 3 years) Although I was schooled on the boat and I ended up going to a Spanish school for a while.
Thank you for bringing back the good memories of having dolphins swim around the boat. And the not so good ones like wen we radioed in for a weather report after sailing down the coast for a few day had our engine brake down and had no wind to find out we had a force 10 gale heading for us and had the Spanish navy come tow us in so we could fix our engine.
Going to have to watch all your videos and look forward to the videos you post going forward.
Yacht life is great
You pair of pains in the bloody arse. I got so much pleasure from seeing you two, a young couple realising their dream that you got all 6ft 6 of me in tears. Where's the bloody Kleenex tissues when you need them?!
Watched a few of your videos, subscribed a little earlier this evening. Each one getting a thumbs up of course. Both of you have a truly lovely way about you and I wish you both more happiness than you can handle on all of your future adventures. Right, next video! :)
How much did you buy it for btw ?
ОтветитьBeautiful couple such a breath of fresh air.wish I'd done something like this when I was younger..be free Beautiful people stay safe x

Ответитьwhat kind boat was it and how much did it cost ?
ОтветитьMuch congratulations to you both on purchasing a great Blue water boat. Hope to see you both soon as I sell my damn native plant nursery. All the Very Best!

It kind of sounds like the previous owner of your boat wanted to see if he can milk any more money out of you. Maybe not, but that’s what it sounds like to me.
ОтветитьCongrats!!!🥳🥳🥳Greetings from the Philippines...New follower here.🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

ОтветитьDid you ever have a survey done on the boat, before closing on it? What is the exact year made, model, engine type?
Ответитьthis is the first video of yours ive watched, ive no idea what kind of people you are but you had me on the verge of happy tears when you got "the call" guess im hooked on the boat videos again :D
ОтветитьWell, that was just a brilliant video. Well put together, informative and showing the struggles of a young couple to achieve what they really really want.....Your latest post of boat jobs before crossing the North Atlantic popped up on my home page...so I just had to go back to the vid of when you bought the boat and now play 'catch up'!! Stay safe.

ОтветитьHello from the PNW, My friend Tim (who is also a friend of yours, or maybe a friend of your parents??), anyway, he put me on to your channel . Becka darn, you made a grown man cry. You two are so "real" an honest on your video (I hope that never changes). I am going to go binge watching No.118 and more. Than I will have to go back to No.1.
I think you have chosen an excellent blue water boat.
I think I would have kept the surfboard. ;-)
Congratulation, ten months later.
“Haven’t stopped smiling since you stepped aboard” … the exact words that sealed the deal when I found my boat too! Love what you guys are doing and pumped to see other young people doing the same thing as me!
ОтветитьDid i miss the most important thing the price
ОтветитьJust started following you guys and well you have a new subscriber. I can't get enough of sailing and your Channel is a great find. Can't wait to work my way through your adventures. Have fun 😁⛵

ОтветитьFinally Result ! Awesome ! "Banks don't like Transferring Money"OMG Yes. Last boat, found a beaut in the USA, racking price from the seller, almost everything I wanted to upgrade already done - new Not Run in yet Yanmar 22 hp Diesel. Stainless steel Storm Ports, double epoxy Barrier Coated, Dorade ents, 5 new Sails etc, and the Seller wanted to be Paid via PayPal. For 2 weeks I got, the Payment is going through Tonight/ in the Morning/ this afternoon, a d the seller was starting to think I didn't Have The Money. Then a Flash of inspiration, after Border Agent checking in to USA asked reason for visit ? To buy a Boat, and he strangely asked are you going to Pay Cash ? Bing ! Lightbulb moment - War on Drugs ! so I went to the nice people in the local Com unity Bank I'd been using, and asked is there a limit on the amount I can pay to buy Something due to the War on Drugs ? Oh Yes indeedee ! They advised that the seller takes me to her Bank, and get her Bank's assistance in getting the Transaction done. A now very suspicious Seller finally agreed to this, her bank confirmed everything I'd been telling her, and gave me all the needed details to do a direct Bank to bank transfer, which we did over a drink in the Inn I was staying at, and the payment went through in under half an hour. Phew Stupid Banks and worthless Restrictions Really Suck. So Congratulations on the boat, may she serve you well, and of a move a bit West would fit, you may find a cheap mooring with a small liveaboard Community in the Municipal Marina in Milford Haven. RYA Training close at Neyland (great people), plus Milford Marina is a Fraction of the price, fees include Rates, plus there's Hailout and Boatyard faci, ities there, and Chandlers and everything boatie related in the area. The Marina has a Restaurant that used to be brilliant, hopefully it still is, and is a short Walk tpinto Milford itself. Berth holders get a Parking Space and Security is good. I know that much as I was giving serious thought to berthing my next boat there, and may still do(though seriously considering collecting it in the Med after Commissioning) . Hope that Helps. My very best Wishes and Fair Winds to you Both. Bob, the new Subscriber. 👍🙂
Ответить🤔 do you really think that you can do what you want to do when you want to do it ... on a sailboat? Think again.
