I’ve had my controller since day one never had a problem

The original ps5 controller had a sub par spring that would wear out quickly causing the trigger to lose its tension to the point where you would randomly pull the trigger kf you parted to hard or whatever. Can be quite problematic in dark souls lol. I actually wound up taking apart my ps4 controller just so I could take that spring out and out it on my ps5 controller. Now ice never dealt with stick drift but I wonder if the analog sticks were superior on the ps4 as well

The ps5 controller if used for 5 hours a day, goes faulty just after a year.

Ive a ps3 controller thats 12 years old been used more than my ps4 and 5 controllers. Works like a dream.

Went through 5 ps5 remotes in a year and a half, bought the bfg pro and after 3 years of daily use nothings wrong with it.

Thats why in gamestop is better to get one there cause they have a warranty incase of drifting they get you a new one for free

ALL my controllers have this yet and I've sent it into customer service or whatever but when it comes back it's the same.

After my first controller I just bought a revolution 5 because I saw how quick this one got drift (despite being very delicate either my shit because it’s expensive) and I decided Hall effect. Was the way to go.

This is good to k n ow I was gunna buy a ps5 controller for my pc, guess I'll stick with my os4 and Xbox elite controller for the pc

Sony dont know how to fix this i call bs 😂 its been solved for long time its hall effect analogs and every video game company should be installing these in because they have life time of no drift. Customers shouldn't have to upgrade there own controllers but that's what's happening people taking things into there own hands

Everything with joysticks has drift, Xbox, PlayStation, vr headsets, and Nintendo systems. But PlayStation actually makes updates to counter stick drift

Its because of the spider man game. If anybodys to blame its them. The way u supposed to combine r3 with other buttons to perform different attacks damages the r3 button.
I destroyed my PC controller once after I finished spider man. And later my ps3 controller once I finished spider man.
There is direct relationship .

Hate to say it, but the edge controller solved my problem.

I have mine since 2020 no problems but my new midnight black controller i bought 3 months ago has stick drift! I bought through amazon and the insurance i got with it wont sort it due to it been down to Amazon for the 1st year of warranty. So Amazon are sorting it. I cant imagine Sony been easy to get that sorted. Theyre expensive enough.
Got a ps2 and ps3 controller and both work great. Such a let down on the ps5 controllers nowadays.

Sony hasn't fixed ps4 controllers wonder why we'll every time l get on game few minutes later it moves and that's the issue

I bought 3 controllwrs witth in a period of 3 months that stick drift is serious. I neever bought controllers on the ps3 and and ps4

This is why I will not buy the ps5. Hopefully, Sony listens to their fans and does not screw up like this. They need to learn from this mistake and make a quality console with quality games.
