The guy at the end wasn't watching the camera, and I'm willing to bet he was doing that per direction. Source: Was an extra for two summers in the mid 90s, with a music video, several movies, and tv shows done during that time (Buddy Holly Weezer vid, 90210, Party of 5, Nutty Professor, Nixon, etc.). Several of the "mistakes," especially at the end, were faults on the directorial staff. An AD should be giving accurate marks and timing to everyone there. As an extra, you have one basic job -- follow instructions.

Wait I read topic of video came here to see Scenes that "Completely ruined by Extras" and there is maybe 2 of them. I feel scammed tbh :D So many of these scenes made the movie better and I don't consider ruined .

I'm sorry, but I didn't like the video. The details you mention are so irrelevant that I'm surprised anyone would bother to notice them. I highly doubt that any of these details could "ruin" a scene (not to mention that there are several "mistakes" that seem more like planned acts, like in Airplane).

the paperboy scene in while you were sleeping and the baby tossing in airplane are terrible choises for this video. they are both intended events in the films adn entirely on brand for the scenes they are in.. hardly "ruined by extras"

In Glory, there is a scene where the 54th regiment is walking through a southern town and are cheered on by young Black boys. One of those boys raises his fist in the air with a wristwatch on.

Airplane scene was definitely planned

The baby tossing in Airplane isn't an error. The entire movie is a farce and that is wholly in keeping with the humor of the movie.

Honestly, the guy pulling the pants down on his buddy during a crisis is incredibly realistic and human.
Some people react to stress differently, and some people are so arrogant they don't believe anything bad can actually happen to them. I've seen so many videos of people who are recording things like avalanches and sometimes they're joking and making light of it until it gets REALLY close then it finally occurs to them that they are in actual danger and their tone completely shifts.

The sweeping "bloopers" are because, for extras, you are supposed to make NO NOISE. At all. So, people "sweeping" without letting the broom make contact with the ground is part of that. Yes, the brooms could have gotten CLOSER, but still.

Your content sucks. Find a job
