I'm south asian ( not east ) and what annoys me the most that these people only think china, japan and korea are asian countries.
There are other countries too and being an asian doesn't make you a celebrity nor will you get any special treatment.
I remember before COVID no one even cared about asia but during the pandemic kpop become popular globally and east asian countries were recognized.
Besides that being cute is not that much desirable in most parts of asia . Everyone want to look beautiful and sexy not cute and adorable.
