Thanks a lot for comparition. Chinese crap is always the same shit with different colors, except when they work for Mercedes or BMW. Cemented chains are the best, but beware with your rims sides.
ОтветитьThanks, you just sought out my confusion.
ОтветитьI am well satisfied with my Snow Joe no disappointment worth every dime
ОтветитьYou have to store your chains properly to limit the risk of tangling
ОтветитьI was having doubts on buying the plastic "chains" or the cloth ones. But after this video, it's clear to me that the steel chains will always be the top choice.
Thank you for such a Great video.
Are those snow chains will help in climbing steep road which are difficult to climb with FWD?
ОтветитьI wanted to buy the zip tie one, glad i found your video!! 😮
Ответить🎉Thx, for video!!
ОтветитьExcellent video! I like your sense of humor 👍 thank you for sharing
Ответитьwow i thought TPU would be good...
ОтветитьThis video was beyond helpful. Thank you so much for making this!
ОтветитьWow. I’m sort of blown away. I’ve lived in snowy areas for about 12 years and never once had an issue. But I just bought a home in the mountains on a 20 degree road. First time I tried to get up in a 2wd van I couldn’t make it at all. I now know there is a solution other than buying a new 80k dollar 4wd work van.
ОтветитьThe zip ties cracked me up. How can anyone buy those and think they will work.
ОтветитьGreat test, you helps us!!!💙
ОтветитьBefore I even watch the video from my experience I can tell you that the zip tie ones are a joke that should be banned and who ever bought them should sue the company that made them
Ответитьyes orange bad rizlants :DDDDDDD! top here veriga pro (duster) is very good :)
ОтветитьYour results were exactly what I was expecting you to find. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.
Ответитьthanks so much
ОтветитьCan you test Michelin easy grip snow chain ?
ОтветитьUnde e făcută filmarea?
ОтветитьI would never use all seasons or all weather tires in the winter. 😂😂😂😂😂 good snow tires and good chains for special occasions
ОтветитьJust looking at those 1st two product makes me laugh so hard. I wouldn't even waste money on junk. Just by watching your video. It has given me a ton of product to steer clear away from at all cost. Really helps me narrow down to quality product over junk products
ОтветитьWhat pressure were your tires at? at a lower tire pressure, maybe the cheaper products would work better.
ОтветитьGreat show 😅
ОтветитьChinese people when they are presented with ANY problem: "PLASTIC!!!"
Ответитьcool off with the rrrrrrrr
ОтветитьRemember that good chains are the only thing preventing you from getting stuck in the middle of nowhere or, worse, falling off a cliff. Sliding and hitting something, needing to call a tow etc. will always cost more than a pair of good chains. Don't cheap out on that.
Ответитьtire4coin is best for tires
Ответитьi got my tires from tire4coin
Ответитьim buying 5 years tires from tire4coin
Ответитьtire4coin have best prices
ОтветитьWhat does ESP stand for?
ОтветитьThe Pewag "expensive chains" let me down the second time I used them. The auto tensioner would not release while I was dismounting the driver's side, and after 30 mins on the side of the highway trying everything, I had to pay $30 to have them cut off. I'm going with the Peerless brand that my son (who lives in snow country) is extremely happy with, which is half the price.
ОтветитьCool review subscribed
ОтветитьNo. Any external device will either not do much or may damage your car wheel wells.
Get snow tires if you do want the best possible grip in snow/cold, period.
Why u dont test it on 4x4 cars
ОтветитьAlso, by two sets, in truly bad descending the unchained pair will slide all over ...
I agree about cost, buy what works, ymmv 🦉💰
First of all, I would never use a 2wd car on that road, the police would never let you pass. The chains are to keep you from slipping on icy roads, NOT to get over a snowy road.
ОтветитьThanks! Made me accept chains as a necessity.
Since 2018 Japan made it a law to use snow chains in snow chain required areas
I feel like the big bulky chains would have done the best overall, I’ll take an extra 10 mins over sliding into another can and now we have to get insurance involved.
ОтветитьWhat if it is installed on two tyres at a time?
ОтветитьWhy didnt you use two chains for each front wheel?
ОтветитьTop tip - 'all season' tyres are never good for any one particular season. In winter, buy decent winter tyres (topper top tip: look for 'ice tyres')
ОтветитьRemember to consider what you are driving on... If these tests where on black ice instead of fresh powder the more expensive china "chains" would have done as well as the expensive chains and rode a hell of a lot nicer. Coming from a Canadian who drives a rwd pickup truck
ОтветитьThis was a great video, great quality picture, and great quality content(layout and whatnot). Very well done
ОтветитьThe case for the expensive chain set was nice. Was the case for 4 chains? 130 euros? Or was that case just one wheel? 2 wheels?
ОтветитьI had bought those yellow ones on Amazon, but couldn't trust them so ended up getting a real snow chain. This video confirmed that I made the right decision. Thank you.
ОтветитьI would love to see a control set where you let out some air in your tires, which should be common practice in going off road in the snow anyway.
Also, a very efficient and cheap way to make snow chains is kind of similar to the zip ties. You have to have a good quality air pump in your vehicle though. First, you let out some air in the tire. Then you take a length of chain that can just reach around the tire through the wheel like the zip ties. Then connect them with a locking carabiner as tight as you can get them. Use at least 6, but more will fit. Then air your tire back up. This works amazingly well and are very easy to install and cheap to replace because you just buy or find a long length of chain and cut off what you need. Only downside is it can scratch up your rims. But you shouldn't have a fancy car out on back trails in the snow to begin with. 😉
Just buy snow chains. Yes they’re more expensive and a pain to put on, but they’ll last for years.
