Baby Mario’s “Toad Eyes” Explained in THE SUPER MARIO BROS. MOVIE

Understood the reference that people are saying the toad eyes are meant to resemble from the games.

But I would prefer Nintendo/Illumination to change the eyes to look humanoid which is what baby Peach look like. And keep in mind that the King Penguin, Fire DK and Ice Peach are created for the movie, NOT from the game.

I know it’s a daring move for them to change the eyes and i think it would spark a controversy at the end. But hey, i had fun editing the eyes and wanted to know how it turned out.

Maybe because that’s the art style? Duh.. Doesn’t have to be a whole thing..

Baby Peach has always had big cute eyes while the brothers have always had dots for eyes. It’s simply a design choice that has been around for a long time before the movie.

No. its just the original designs of baby Mario, Luigi and Peach in the Mario Kart game. Nintendo probably didn't want to create all new character designs, just because of the eyes, cause who wants to do that lol. So for the baby flashbacks for all three, they just used the character designs from mario kart, and mario and luigi with normal eyes as babies just looks creepy and not cute, while with peach, it's more on the cute side. And i could be wrong for this, but it also could be the tiny eyes resembles baby boys, while the wide eyes resemble baby girls.

the only reason peach works is cause her eyes were designed the way they were in the games, not saying I hate your opinion or preferred design choices, I’m just saying there are somethings that shouldn’t be messed with

Plot twist Mario's Mom isn't his real mom. His dad smashed a female Toad(could be the other way around but the dad looks way too much like them)... it would explain why Mario and Luigi are so short too😂😂
