I really want this leg for my mom, your contact number please
ОтветитьMy lower body never fully came back after an L2S2 laminectomy (bi-lateral tibial and peroneal nerves.) Watching your videos with amputees gives me hope that someday I could walk without an assistive device if I put in the time with a therapist like yourself. Kudos and thanks.
Ответитьbu proteze mən necə sahib ola bilərəm. qiymeti neceyedir
ОтветитьHello David: It's good to show a "wide stance" but that reminds me of a Senator from Idaho, Larry Craig, who while slipping his foot beneath the bathroom stall of the dude next to him, claimed he was not making a pass at the guy but he "had a wide stance" and his foot accidently went under the stall to make contact with his neighbor. Sure Larry. No doubt.
Ответить😂 looking for this
ОтветитьI am in the process of learning how to walk. I have a problem of putting all my weight on my arms on the walker. How can I stop doing that ?
ОтветитьI'm watching this just incase my leg go boom
ОтветитьI’ve been a through knee amputee for ten years and still find walking difficult. This video is so helpful, I can wait to put it onto practice. Thank you so much. Keep up the good work 😊
ОтветитьIt help me more and more the explanation is also nice.
ОтветитьFrom one PT Amputation Care specialist to another: Great work! Very few understand the importance of initiating swing via the pelvis. Extremely refreshing to see, and will certainly help clinicians and patients avoid some of the common pitfalls which preclude symmetrical gait. Bravo!
ОтветитьGreat video. I’m a RAKA and wondering how long has this client been walking since receiving her prosthetic?
ОтветитьWhat would you recommend if a patient has a transfemoral prosthesis but that has a manual lever to go from sitting to standing. She wants to return to ambulation (uses a walker) but this seems rather difficult with a stiff knee. 4 years out of her amputation.
ОтветитьI lost both my legsfrom the knee down last year and and any advised for me
ОтветитьThanks lòt
ОтветитьGood walk but explain Hindi
ОтветитьHi I’m an AKA and just had the 2nd part of Osseointegration surgery back in March. I can balance, walk with a cane, but I can not walk without my crutches or cane. Do you have any suggestions? (Before Osseointegration I learned to walk within 2 weeks without any assistance)
ОтветитьI've learned more from this series of videos than I ever have from my "prosthetic" guy. I wish this video in particular dealt more with btk walking - my knee DOES bend but my body and I are flummoxed by the "bounce" and ensuing feeling of instability that happens when I try to walk...so, I'm still on crutches...over a year later. Not fun.
Ответитьwell explained. Good trainer.
ОтветитьU could have used a male model for this. This is really bad. U are a example of rapist culture. Idiot
ОтветитьTraduzcan al español por fa...

ОтветитьI need a video of the beginners
ОтветитьI received a C leg over a year ago, I live in a rural community and there are no PT"s who have any experience with a C leg. I gain more from your videos then I have with anyone else. Teach to walk as an amputee and seeing that it is all from the basics is very helpful. I feel I was lead to believe that this microprocessor knee would be life changing. It has not been so and in many ways I have been disappointed. But time to move on and appreciate what I have. Thank you. Practice, practice, practice.
.
How long should each phase be practiced and how do I stop limping?
I am fairly comfortable with walking without my cane or walker around my apt but still have a significant limp. my glute muscles are strong according to my Prosthetist but my balance sucks. I'd love to walk smoothly and can't help but wonder if balance plays a role in that. I can't stand on that one leg with my good leg lifted up unless I'm holding onto something and putting weight on that arm when I lift my good leg.
Is there a similar video for below knee amputees or are the principles sound enough to be true for above and below knee?
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьI just started doing parallel bars and p/t but as im trying to walk I noticed my feet all over the place which without the parallel bars id most definitely be on the ground. What can I practice doing to keep my feet closer together ?
ОтветитьWhat would it look like if a patient has prosthetics for both legs? Do you have a video for how training with that would look like?
ОтветитьI love will love to learn still trying
ОтветитьCan you tell me where can i buy this leg?
