ОтветитьHi Symone, Thanks for sharing your personal heartfelt story.
My condolences for your loss in 2023 and all the negative issues to follow afterwards. I lost my om a week after mother's day then Nov of that year my job.
I was having a mental breakdown and needed a break from work. Anyway I subscribed to your channel and love the channel.
I'm pivoting to cyber security this Feb 2024 with cybernow labs. The animation & vfx industry isn't stable. I'll return much later, cyber is in higher demand.
I can always go back to games and continue learning on downtime.
I hope yourdoing better in 2024 I believe that you're now. 😊

I wish I had that job
ОтветитьOmg, I can actually can relate to this. I was temporarily homeless for 2 months living out of hotels and Airbnbs and my Grandmother died. I was crying all the time! My horrible Director waited for me to get back into my place then laid me off my job right before the holidays for no real reason! He barely cared about my well being. I lost so much money from spending on Airbnbs and hotels before moving back into my place. Then lost my job right after, so now it’s a new year and I’m on unemployment and in a financial hole! I live in the DMV, so I will be seeing if I can attend your conference. So glad I stumbled upon your channel 🙏🏽🙌🏽.
ОтветитьI believe that because you prioritized accordingly, you will be blessed abundantly ❤🎉
ОтветитьHi, your content has been an immense inspiration to me, reflecting your creativity, passion, and dedication. Your work has significantly impacted my journey, and I appreciate the insights you share. On a different note, I'm exploring GovTech opportunities and would love your insights on available positions in the Caribbean. Your perspective is valued, and reaching out seemed like a great way to gather valuable insights. Thank you for being a constant source of inspiration!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your story.
Ответитьdamn are you m or f?
ОтветитьWhat this means is a 500k job is for people who do not have mental obstacles.
ОтветитьJesus loves you! He can help you with anything you’re struggling with! ❤
ОтветитьYo ass don’t make $200 ks lol😅
ОтветитьI'm making minimum wage living with roaches in a neighborhood that's getting more dangerous by the day. If I was offered 275k a year it would quite literally be life changing money. I'd be able to help my dad retire earlier be able to afford a car. I'd put up with a lot of bullshit if it meant getting that kind of money and I know it because I put up with a bunch of bullshit now for barely enough money to survive.
ОтветитьVery sorry for your loss. I was close with my grandmother too. May she rest in peace.
ОтветитьYes I feel like this now in trucking
ОтветитьI understand completely. I quit one the best jobs I’ve ever had because it was 100% remote and I couldn’t escape the reality I was going through at the time. Sorry to hear about your grandmother, your videos are helping me progress though and i appreciate you !
ОтветитьYou’re inspirational Symone and I wish you the best, is there a link to the conference you’ll be hosting?
ОтветитьSo let me get this straight hired in August and 4 months later you were out for 2 months? 🤦🏽♂️
ОтветитьI work remote for a gov contract company. I agree 100% with what she said. Also the pressure of always showing up because your laptop is with you is stressful. No one talks about that.
ОтветитьThanks for keeping it 💯
ОтветитьAre you a man or a woman?
ОтветитьGreat video. I started watching your videos last year as a beginner before giving stock and crypto market a trial. I was able to make $30,300 in one month with a capital of $4,000 trading with an experience expert who guided me through out my trading.
ОтветитьI dont know who actually has a job in this field because they only talk about their life or general shit you can find on any channel.Never showing anything about the actual work.Anyone can make these videos. They are generic and you learn nothing.
ОтветитьGood for you prioritizing your mental health and having fun 😊
ОтветитьHey Symoné do you also help those trying to transition into tech or only those who are already established within tech? Thanks!
ОтветитьI am almost sure I saw her on salary transparent street on IG. I remember seeing her salary and was like Jesus she’s rich lol. Thanks for being transparent about your experiences!
ОтветитьThat’s the beautiful thing about life, she grinded took all the steps and made it happen ,but life circumstances and mental health she decided that she didn’t want to do it anymore and she made a choice .
Keyword choice!
She did it once and she can do it again
my condolences for your loss Symone, and many blessings to your future endeavors with you and your father working together. How can i get in contact with you personally? I'm currently in WGU and studying for my Network plus exam and then my Security Plus exam. I'm looking to get some mentorship in acquiring a job in teh cyber field that will help provide for my family in the next 3 months. hope this message reaches you. Thank you ahead of time.
ОтветитьYou sound so smart and articulate. Love your voice.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this message I’m proud of you
ОтветитьGood for you-
ОтветитьIs this a man or a woman? 🤔
Ответитьmay Good Bless you 😇🙏🏽
ОтветитьIt’s crazy because I am currently a IT service management analyst (specifically doing incident response and problem management) I work with many teams including engineering teams, Directors and TAMs. My company is an enterprise IT company but I work specifically with government contacts and I work from home. My goal is to move to an engineering role (security, network, or systems) but I am finding myself attracted to the TAM role but I can see it is a demanding role. I finish my masters in IT systems engineering this year so we will see what the next step will be.
ОтветитьHi, just came a cross your video as someone who never had tech experience what advice would you give to start a career as a tech ?
Ответитьbullshit you quit bro you got fired or are a liar, also why is your face to greasy in every video take a shower
ОтветитьHappy you prioritized your health and now you can WIN with your Dad🫶🏽🫶🏽💪🏽
ОтветитьThis is the story of all poor people… minus the extremely high pay.
How does quitting change any of those life factors, especially dealing with one’s own emotions?
The job wasn’t the stress… it was unfortunately, the inability or unwillingness to manage grief adequately.
Life never ask permission to include anyone.
So regardless of what new job are had, or more freedoms, or easier living conditions, or people here or gone… focus will always be difficult when life happens…
Quitting doesn’t make logical sense… especially when future success will always seem to justify quitting behaviors.
But when failure comes the story wouldn’t then promote, more prudent behavior, steadfastness, endurance, mindset and faith in time healing all.
Nevertheless, much gratitude for sharing, it was informative, entertaining and helpfully detailed.✨✨✨🏀
Blessings to you & your family ❤
ОтветитьThe waitlist link isn’t working for me
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. Tough choosing mental health over “the grind” or anything that seems to have value. God bless you and anyone who is battling the same issues
ОтветитьHow can i find a remote job that pays 2-5k a month so i can move countries lol
Ответитьgovtech seems like the move.
ОтветитьElectrical Engineer in Silicon Valley here. I quit my $200k/year job with Qualcomm in 2015 and have been a full time consultant ever since. There is no going back to tech slavery.
ОтветитьI did something similar, dropped gov tech for trucking, did it for a year, made no money, lost 50k, nearly went bankrupt all by 27, now 29. Be prepared to not make money for some time, be comfortable with the lost of money. As someone as a techie, my biggest growing points was taking chances without all the necessary information, overcoming analyses by paralysis, and perfectionism. Over analyzing means hesitance, hesitance mean loss of opportunity, fines, loss of money. I also hated losing money. Over time I realized the game is to figure out the inner workings of the business/game enough to get to consistency, before going bankrupt. It’s like being put in a boat with holes, and the objective is to get to the other side before you drown. Focus more on being a C student than an A student, get things done quick with decent quality versus perfect. The fact that you have an affinity towards sales indicate your relationship with taking chances is different than the common techie/engineer. That is a benefit.
ОтветитьPlease share how we can get that job too😊
ОтветитьThank you for your vulnerability and insight. This resonates well given my current status, and has for several years now. Sorry to hear about your losses along the way, but congratulations on your work to overcome and what you've been building!
ОтветитьI get that some people just don’t like the idea of being at home all day and I respect that but what you went through with grief would’ve still been hard in office. Don’t beat yourself up too much. You would have been “at work” and still thinking about those things.
