Terminator: Dark Fate / Sarah Connor Meets Terminator T-800 Scene (Arnold Schwarzenegger's Entrance)

Director Tim Miller said that his biggest surprise was the test audience's reaction to the scene where Sarah (Linda Hamilton) confronts Carl (Arnold Schwarzenegger), the murderer of her son. He had expected that like Sarah, people would hate him for what he had done; however, the audience loved seeing Schwarzenegger finally appear on screen so much that they actually cheered for him.

Linda & Arnie saved this trillogy. Without them I doubt anyone would have cared much about this one.

I’m not sure why they just never started making more movies about the future war instead. Why they always felt the need to just keep rehashing this storyline.

Polite Terminator.... I never thought I'd live to see the day. What happened to "Fuck you, Asshole?" The terminators are sitting on the couch and watching football now. Sarah Connor is more of a Terminator than the Terminator. Unthinkable!

They definitely got Terminated at the box office.

Imagine if instead of Arnold walking out of the house, it turned out to be Robert Patrick.

Everything good has now been turned into repetitive kitchen sink dramas where everyone is dressed and made up like they're just come off a catalogue photoshoot.

This movie had its flaws. And I mean FLAWS. But Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s performances were top notch. And the character development they both went through felt real to who they are. Even if the circumstances around said development was kinda goofy

I seriously don't understand the hate for Dark Fate. (eyy, that rhymes ^^)

When you think about it, it makes sense that the future rhymes. Only a small handful of people knew about the doomed future, but since that lesson didn't get spread, of course other people would continue making AI. (And c'mon, WE in real life are aware of the potential dangers, but that's not stopping us, is it?) Thus, Skynet was stopped, but not the progress of AI in military use. Of course Legion would be inevitable.

Then there's the idea of multiple Terminators being sent. Makes sense, right? Like, why would they only send one Terminator to try to take out John?

Then there's the replacement for John Connor. I honestly found it beautiful that, no, the future isn't doomed because one man died. Sure, John died, but another leader rose to help fight against Legion. It's symbolic, meaning that anybody can be John Connor. Anybody can be the leader of the resistance against the machines. It only takes the right heart, right mind, and right soul for them to take up the mantle of hope. I mean, how do you think the original John Connor came to be? The one that started this Ouroboric cycle of time travel-nonsense?

It's honestly distressing to see fans being blinded by nostalgia and by what they think should be canon, should be "this way" and "that way." Dark Fate was meant to be a continuation of the original series - a "what if we didn't exactly stop the future?" It was meant to be a way to pass down the torch to the modern generation.

This movie is an anormous piece of total shit.This scene is just another examplo of the garbage.
