Sadly, just like spiders, I cannot support Scoria breeders simply because of the genetic issues such as wobbling.

Gorgeous animals, but my money will never touch them.

Breeding animals with genetic defects just because they look pretty isn't something we should do in the community.

Definitely saw a couple wobbles with a few of those scorias, but the issue has definitely gotten better since the first scorias.

Instead or selling that world's 1st boa for so cheap If the market wasn't there you should pull back and run that new gene thru damn near ur intire collection will enhance ur collection from the next guy.

That's funny when you say your mom wouldn't let you keep the snakes in your house. My mom is what got me to like reptiles when I was a kid. But my mom and aunt worked at an animal hospital and I eventually did myself as well. But when it comes to my wife she keeps telling me no more lizards. Snakes are fine but not the lizards.😂 I think my black throats ruined it for the rest of the lizards. They're so big but the main thing is she says they smell so bad.🤦‍♂️ My Asian water monitors didn't smell but they got blamed for it.😂

It's hard enough to get the average person to buy a boa let alone drop thousands of dollars on a inbred morph. Inbreeding racks of snakes to get a new morph that you will put an impossibly high price tag on is incredibly unethical.

What size is that? I'm a smaller human who wants a boa constricter but would have limited help with it!

Just to clarify for everyone: you should not be feeding too large of rodents (only big enough to leave a small lump) to your boas and do not feed them too often. From about birth to 2 years old, feed every 10-14 days. 3-5 feed every 3 weeks. After 5 you can feed once a month. If your snake has a nice square muscular body then the feeding is right. If they start to get rolls then feed a lil less or smaller meals. Brian Boas is a wonderful source on how to feed and other boa keeping/breeding info. If you feed them like this, the snake will be healthier and live longer. I love this facility that Dav is at, and I watch them often. I imagine they feed the way they do cuz they are breeding (you do want breeding females a bit bigger so they have a reserve when mating.) Just wanted to throw this info out there so your boas are with you longer. Look up Brian Boas!
